    Fiercely Proud

I am Scottish. I was born in Aberdeen and lived there up until 10 years qgo when I came to America and met my now wife. I miss Sotland and its way. I miss easy banter with a stranger, singsongs in a pub, the friendly way of Scots. My folks and my mates are there..I visit at...

the result is in and cannot be altered, now get over it, stop winging or gloating and get on with the rest of your life.

have just put another book on Kindle.

This was one I wrote a couple of years ago, published and took off again, re-wrote and have now re-published. It is called 'Women of Scotland' and its a look at some of the really interesting women that Scotland has produced.

Irish, English, French, and German in heritage. Although I was born in the US and the largest percentage of my ancestry is Scottish. My Sir name is Scottish and we traveled to Canada during a break out of a horrible disease that killed many people including half of our family...

    Scottish ?

This is a rant so please avoid if you have a sensitive disposition. See half the people that have clicked "me too" they aren't scottish ! their ancestors were. or they want to be. or they occasionally wear kilts. Sorry this winds me up. Due to the fact i was born in scotland...

    I think its shocking

that some yes voters (not all) are calling no voters cowards, they should respect the fact that its what the majority of people wanted. If it was a yes vote that won I wouldn't call yes voters "cowards" and "fools", I would respect the decision of the majority!

My family doesn't really have Scottish heritage

but we've lived here for a while and it's the only place I've felt happy or at home. I love this country. I guess some people would disagree that I'm Scottish because I don't have the roots, but I've lived so many places that if I'm not Scottish, I'm not really anything.

    I am extremely sickened

and saddened by the majority of the responses from the outcome of the referendum from both sides. Such cruel words have been said to fellow Scots, the only thing to be ashamed of is this immature, power hungry behavior which is now dividing not only the nation but Scotland...
