I have to go see my counselor today.

I lie to her a lot and I feel really bad about it but the one time I was completely honest she referred me to the psychiatrist. That was the worst. A waste of time and not helpful at all. The only thing he cared about was if I was trying to kill myself and what kind of drug he...

    I'm seeing the school counsellor,

because I've had a pretty sh.t life, and I just need to talk it over with someone. I was just wondering, I'm a bit scared to talk about my relationship with my mum and brother, because they both hit me sometimes, and I don't know if that counts as danger so she'd have to report...

    I Am Seeing A Counselor

I started seeing a counselor almost 2 years ago. And in my last session with her. She really surprised me when she said ' if this isn't working for you let me know, because I don't want to see you waste your time and money. From the beginning I had imagine she was a good...

    Counselling isn't really helping.

I feel as though I need to talk about it to forget it, but they don't ever let me. They want to talk about my 'feelings' and I don't know how I feel. But I know what happened, and I want to talk about that, so why won't they let me?!

I've thought about doing it on

and off for nearly 10 years, but I finally went through with it about a month ago. My breaking point was when I fell for a really terrible guy, and then lost him. I've only had three meetings with her so far, and so far she hasn't really helped but I know it takes time. It does...

Today was my first visit to the counselor.

. It was fine, better than I expected. She was with an assistant, her assistant did most of the asking. She asked a lot of "interesting" (awkward) questions. I don't remember what question it was but I broke down in tears, all I remember is it was about my two little cousins I...

    So it's been a while

since I've posted anything. I've had some good months and I've had some very bad months. But I have continued to see my counsellor once a week. I think 2months in, I finally started to see and understand its purpose and how it works. Admittedly at the beginning I really didn't...

I had my second session yesterday.

It was really emotional, mainly because I went there very emotional and obviously we spoke about it. I managed not to cry whilst I was there but he's helped me understand that what I'm currently doing with my boyfriend isn't wrong (not opening up to him) I'm just protecting...

well I see a counselor every Friday now.

.. wish it were 1x a month instead of a weekly thing, may try and get out of that part though. but the counselor has helped alot, he's a nice older guy that seems to actually 'care and knows how to carry on a good conversation unlike the other counselors that seemed too strict...
