Seeking Inner Peace? You search inner peace in

drugs and alcohol, in gambling and dice. You search it in haram money and music and in dens of the vice. In the dead of night you disobey Allah, will your heart be at ease? Hankering after this world will you ever find inner peace? Will never end your search, will never...

    I've found inner peace myself.

It's the most wonderful feeling, coming to terms that the only thing that matters, is the exact moment you're in. The past is gone, don't dwell on it. And the future is not set. Focus on right now. Through meditation I got away from the stress that was created by the weight of...

    Life is the ultimate gift.

Love is a natural, wonderful part of it supposed to sustain us, make us happy. Yet so many people here are agonising over the absence or complexity of it, and I am not an exception. Why is it so that what should be natural, creates so many problems? Why is it so that people want...

Yesterday I said my final good-bye to our old

dog... He must have been 90 by human years... but he was my last link to my parents as he was my dad's dog. He was a mixed breed dog and not too brilliant... but he was kind and good. Since there's no fence in the farm he went running over two years ago and was caught by...

It's a very early Sunday morning here.

.. I should be asleep, but am not. I woke up about two hours ago to a completely wet bed and incoherent husband. He has diabetis and such nightly blood sugar drops are nothing new. Yet- I feel things have changed again... I used to want to take the responsibility for his illness...

    Being Real

As I approach my mid fifties I am learning that most of the chaos in my life in one way or another came from my own lack of willingness to "let things or people go" when we no longer serve to feed one another's spirit. Blessing a person and then letting go of that person...... is...

My best advice is in three small words: be a duck! Let the judgment and criticism from others slide off your beak like water, swim how you want to swim, look goofy with your bum in the air, make silly sounds, do whatever makes you happy without caring what anyone else thinks...
