    Ten Rules For Being Human

I came upon the list of Ten Rules for Being Human years ago. It was attributed to an anonymous source the first time I saw it, and it distilled many things I believed. Later a book club I belong to explained the mystery of who had written the list--Dr Cherie Carter Scott, a life...

    Life is the ultimate gift.

Love is a natural, wonderful part of it supposed to sustain us, make us happy. Yet so many people here are agonising over the absence or complexity of it, and I am not an exception. Why is it so that what should be natural, creates so many problems? Why is it so that people want...

    I've found inner peace myself.

It's the most wonderful feeling, coming to terms that the only thing that matters, is the exact moment you're in. The past is gone, don't dwell on it. And the future is not set. Focus on right now. Through meditation I got away from the stress that was created by the weight of...

Inner peace is when you no longer have to

struggle with your ego. In the Kabbalic terms the ego is what holds us back from enjoying the bounty from the Light. A good lesson is altruism.

our inner quiet. I think it is always there. Sure, it can be covered up, ignored, and drowned out, but it is never truly gone. We don't have to search for what was never missing to begin with. We just have to realize that the inner peace we think we are seeking is already...
