both my eyes and skin are poorly suited to light - i sunburn easily and i have rather extreme photosensitivity, so i even end up wearing sunglasses indoors at night. fortunately nobody has ever asked me anything about that

Great to find this group! I've never had a friend or even an acquaintance with this problem.  It seems like no big deal to people who don't have this problem, but you know how painful this can be.  No barbecues, no beach trips...
