I Am Still A Kid At Heart

One of the things that I admire most Bout

children is their marked sense of resiliency and innate curiosity to learn. I miss the days when my mind and imagination was untouched by the reality that was 'taught' to me.

    Although I'm an adult

and very much into *ahem* adult things, I find my mentality is more on the level of a child's. Still interested in games, cartoons and childish humour and that's okay with me!

    Childlike, Not Childish.

I think it a wonderful thing to keep that child like quality of seeing the world as a bright, wonderful, exciting place. To take in with awe the things you see in life everyday. To never let the ordinary become mundane, but to welcome it with a warm heart and bright smile. To be...

    I always liked to cuddle,

loved hugs, wanted a dad, didn't wanted to do things that boys my age do. Always saw things different. Even if I do look like a teen and mature person, I'm not.

I still watch animated films about superheroes. I love batman. I still prefer playing games to life. I still play with water like it's amazing. I don't dress like an adult. I'm 24 but I think I'm actually 12. XD

My dad always gets on my case

because I put things like video games and friends first, before important things like school. I know someday I have to grow up and do the things I need to do to live on my own, but for now, the truth is that all I want to do is enjoy my free time, play games, laugh and have a...

Once upon a time someone told me the worst

secret ever..."Someday you will have to grow up...you will become an adult". It was the most horrible thing I have ever heard till that moment. So I got mad and replied "NO! I will NEVER grow up!" And so I kept my promise till the point I don't look at all my age. I am often...

    Forever Young

I am a kid at heart, forever young as some might say but it has nothing to do with my physical appearance, the way I eat, or even the many age-fighting creams I use on my face. I stay young because I giggle and laugh and dance in the rain. I still twirl in my skirts round and...

I believe we all feel immortal

Aren't we all, especially you guys?

The realities of life for women differ from those of men in their intensity, perhaps, but they are essentially similar. Health, food, work and play. Men emphasise the last most, but we all have the same. And some!

And Why Should There Be Anything Wrong With That?

Back when I was in high school I tried so hard to be 'the mature one' amongst my group of friends. I was good at it, but even so it was wrong. A few years ago I met someone who changed my life in so many ways, one of those being learning to be able to accept and portray who I am...

Among the joys of having kids is

that one gets to enjoy kids toys, children's books, kids movies ... And a lot of them are quite good. We rewatched "How to Train Your Dragon" today. And that's a good movie, and I bet a lot of adults who do not have kids miss out on good movies like that just because their...
