I was adopted / my sister was too.

She is the eldest by 5 years. My adoptive parents were always very strict and I was considered the smart and talented one and they pushed me a lot. I eventually rebelled. My grandmother was the glue in our family and when she died, a part of me did too. I found out that I was...

I am the 3rd child and the youngest daughter.

All my life I always competed with my sister. She is 4 years older than me. As adults, as well as when we were children, she always gets her way. Whatever she asks my parents for, she gets. When I moved out of state, it was great being without my sister. But I miss my parents. I...

I'm a black sheep because of my family relation

and favouritism. My sister is older then me by five years. It's because she gave everything to my family that I can't. She gave my stepdad a granddaughter and soon a grandson to call his own besides having me who is my biological father's daughter. I know I remind them of my...

Most of you who have been on here a

while pretty much know my story. But, do you really? I grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. A genuine **** up in school. I had the Deans's Office for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th periods. My father was a Precherman and a drunk. Yeah, he would get drunk Monday thru Saterday and...

I was dealt a bad hand at birth.

My story isn't as bad as the book 'child called It', but it was pretty close. I have always been excluded for as long as I can remember. I remember even as a young child knowing when my mother was lying. She lied about everything from her age to false pregnancies. She to this...

    I have been called rebellious,

wrong, different, a black sheep because I refuse to be what almost everybody else is. I stand by my beliefs. It takes nothing to join a crowd. It takes everything to stand alone.

I am the first of three children

that my mother had but I am the only one that is not her husband's child. My siblings and I are all 3 years apart. Which is slightly irrelevant but give me a moment. For the first 3 years of my life I was primarily raised by my grandparents, mom's side, because my mother was in...
