Ok hi my name is Noel i am 19, my man and i are going threw boot camp right now, what fun, NOT :D but i am all smiles now cause i know he is growing up. His name is Brett and will 19 in a few days. He has been in boot since Dec.1 and will be out Feb 27 (graduation). We have been together for three years and one month today, and have been engaged about six months, o and we have NEVER broken up. We are waiting to get married untill after i get out of college so November 9,2012 lol but we got engaged since we lived in texas and i was coming to school in south dakota because they were going to pay me almost a full ride to play soccer so i had to come :( but it was good for us to learn since he wanted to do the marine thing. Although his mother is the only one of our family that knows we are engaged it was a personal thing for us i think. But my parents went from hating us together for three years to now loving him because he is growing up and joined that marines so he is showing that he is a man :D So i am just glowing of love and cant wait for him to get out of boot camp, and these four years to pass by so we can be married. I am really excited to join this marine world all you women are amazing and your men are so strong and doing such a great thing cant wait to join that!

I'm Heather and I am 22. My Marine, Luke is 25 (26 in a couple weeks) and does comm repair at 29 Palms, CA. He just recently got promoted to Cpl and I am so proud. He is likely to deploy for the first time around Sept of 09, which really scares me. Luke and I have been together for 7 months. He should be home soon for 21 days of leave over Christmas and I am so excited. I've been on this site a couple months but dont share stories that often, I'm pretty boring :) but you'll see me leaving comments.

and before he left we got into a huge fight it was terrible. i didnt see him before he left.

Im JESSIE... i just got married to my marine on Nov. 28,2008. we have only been together for 6 months but we have been besties for over 8 years. he is currently stationed in YUMA AZ! im moving there after christmas! he will be dploying to afgan in july. which is his 2nd deployment! We are both 19! & im currently a culinary arts student! I was born & raised 10 mins from the lovely Charleston SC & im going to miss it terribly! I think I'm a funny person & i like to laugh! most of my stories make me laugh but few people catch on to the humor (except nat lol) anyways thats me in a nutshell!

So, I'm Kaley. I'll be 19 in January :) My Marines name is Josh and is currently finishing up MOS school in Twenty nine palms. He's a Radio Field operator. -Think thats the guy that walks with the infantry with the radio? but I'm not sure, I think he said they changed that part?- idk. He will be finished in February and has been told he'll probably be stationed at camp pendleton *im crossing my fingers*

Hey I'm Sabrina I'm 18 but I'll be turing 19 in January! My marine is Sam (he turns 18 Dec. 22, yeah hes young) right now he is at Camp Gieger, NC until December 19th. He's then going to be stationed at Camp Pendleton which totally sucks because I'm from Maryland. And I'm going to school in West Virginia. So its really far and its going to be really hard, but everyone knows what that is like.

We've been dating for 6 months, my mom knows and loves him but my dad and step-mom dont know were dating. They know I hang out with him, just not that we date, they don't really like him because they are weird, they don't like anyone. But we still make it work!

 not sure if i'm a newbie or old hag (def closer to newbie i think)....but here goes..

I'm Laura. I'm 21, from NJ. I go to Ithaca for occupational therapy. Though, this year i'm taking a year off due to health reasons. Chronic health stuff kinda got in the way of classes, so i had to leave. But this year off has been good so far....figuring things out, even though it basically means i live in a doctors office..lol. But this spring i'll take a class locally and then figure out where i'm transferring for the rest of my 2 years left. Then comes grad school! (since we can't even sit for the national exam anymore without a master's....sucks i know!) While i take the class i'll also volunteer somewhere to make sure being an OT is really what i want to do. And of course, i want to do some more stuff involving the corps and helping them out....keeps me connected to my marine even though hes far away....

My Marine is James, 20, is orig. from NC, stationed in NY, and currently at 29 palms, cali. He's 0313, LAV crewman (he drives lol). He's been in for 2 years now, and we still got another 3 after he gets back from deployment. He's a reserve that was called up. Now to the tricky part...our relationship lol. We met in Jan 08 online. Started dating in Feb 08. and due to deployment ish we broke up in Nov 08 (9 months total). We're still in love, and all that jazz and he is my world. I feel so lost without him. I know he's doing what he thinks he has to do to come home safe. I know theres a lot going on in my life and in getting me better and he can't be worried about that when he's over there....so if us not being "together" is what will bring him home safe, then so be it!It is so hard to know its only the deployment keeping us from being together, and that makes it really ******...But i will wait for him...and us being apart will only make us stronger, and i will be there when he gets off that plane next year! he always said, "no matter where we are, we're always under the same moon"....and we have a little guardian angel looking down from above on both of us.....   

p.s. i also really miss how active my phone used to be, when we could talk all the time...so if anyone wants to exchange numbers lemme know! I know we are all strong woman, and we have our weak moments, and i'm always here to listen...whether its about your marine, your life, school, family, your dog, anything!

my marine (Phil) and i have been together going on 5 years now... we have had a rocky times and many break ups... but one day we will get married!! he is MotorT. he loves it.. hes in camp Pendleton, Ca. im planning on moving down to Oceanside in March to live with him..

ive been through a ton! so if any of you girls need someone to talk to... i bet i have gone through the exact same thing and im here for all of you!

Hello pretty ladies :)

I'm Audrey, 18, and I'll be blowing those candles out in April.  My amazingly handsome boyfriend is Alex.  He was previously enlisted with the army, was overseas, got hurt, came home, reenlisted with the army for his own personal reasons.  However, about 4 months ago he decided to enlist with the marines. So he discharged from the army and enlisted with the Marines. He's extremely excited about being one of The Few, The Proud, A Marine!  We have been together for almost a year and he will be leaving on January 4th for bootcamp.  I'm nervous and excited for him all at the same time! I know he will do extremely well being familiar with the military and all...but I don't want him to go.  But I'm here for him no matter what, so.....yeah. :)  He is going to be an infantryman......his brother begged him not to be, but he's stubborn and doesn't wanna listen to anyone!  We have talked constantly about getting married and he's described numerous ways he was going to propose to me :) how adorable right?  He's a truly amazing person on the inside and out and I couldn't be any happier to spend my life with him.  I'm currently going to school just to recieve my basics....about half a year or so left :)  Then I'm going to go to school (wherever this lifestyle takes us) and major in psychology and child care.   I want to work at St.Jude's Childrens research hospital as a Childlife Specialist.  I think those kids are some of the strongest individuals ever, and i know i could learn a thing or two about life and being grateful for all that is given to us.

So that about sums up my story.  I am always willing to listen and talk to anyone who needs someone to talk to!  I'm a great listener and can give advice when you need it :)

My Marine's name is Chris, he's Ninteen... He's a Corporal and is currently overseas. We've been together for almost seven amazing months now! We actually met on facebook back in May... he asked me to be his girlfriend before we ever met in person because it just felt right :) I waited 85 days to finally meet him in person... I was at the airport waiting for him August 23rd. When I saw him I jumped on him... The rest is history hahah. Anyway, I miss him like CRAZY!!!! I can't wait for him to come home!!.. but, of course I will :) Christopher is the love of my life. We're getting engaged sometime next year and I'm hopefully moving down to where he's stationed when he gets back home. That's my story in a nutshell :)

My name is Misty . i'm 18 years old and a freshman in college. i am majoring in education because i would like to eventually be a special ed teacher. My boyfriend Ryan and i have only been together for around 5-6 months. Right now he is finishing up bootcamp in parris island, and will be coming home for a period of time in 2 weeks. This has been a completely new experience for me.

I'm Alyssa and im 19. Im in my second year of college about to transfer for spring semester. I am not yet officially dating my to-be Mairne Austen. We met only a few weeks before he left for boot camp on Dec. 1st. We decided not to start a relationship before he left but when he comes back. I made a deal with him that I was not going to do anything with anyone else even though we are not officially together. I want to prove to him that I am there for him and can live up to the Marines saying Semper Fi! So Austen is also 19 and is in San Diego. He is going to be doing cryptics after boot camp and isnt sure where he will be yet for the training. He is the sweetest man I have ever met. His plan for when he comes back is to surprise me in his uniform and with a boquet of flowers. Now who wouldnt want to wait for a guy like that?! I look forward to learning a lot from all of you and maybe surprise Austen when he gets home with what all I have learned! I will definitly keep whoever is interested updated about when he comes home!

I'm Evelyn, I'm 25 years old and currently attending Rutgers University for my Master of Social Work.  I currently work full-time, part-time, go to school, and I am active in my sorority.  I know I try to keep myself busy since my husband isn't here.  I recently got married to the love of my life on November 28, 2008.  We have been friends for about 11 years now, but got together about 1 1/2 years ago.  He is currently in Yuma, Arizona where I will be moving soon.. It is a very big difference moving from the East Coast to the West!!! I also recently found out that I am about 10 weeks pregnant so that was a wonderful surprise!!!

My name is Christgen and my husbands name is John we have been married for going on a year in april we have a son that is almost 1 well in a month he will be. John and i met at the place that we both used to work at when we were in high school he was a meat cutter and i was a cashier, we had a really rough start together my parents didnt allow me to see or talk to or date him well i went dehind their backs and saw him i even snuck him in and out of my window at nights and never got caught. we talked about getting married but he never perposed. we got pregnant and times got rough with money and everything like that we went through a very bad time for our relationship while i was pregnant we would go out just about everynight and drink and party and leave me home alone. johns stepdad is a retired gunny and john decided that it would be best that he went into the marines because that was something that he did want to do but figured it would be bst for our new family. john had to go to boot jan 14 and our son was due jan 22 well our son endded up being born on jan 13 john wasnt able tobe with me while i gave birth to our son because he was where we lived and i moved back with my family 8 hours away so i wouldnt be alone while he was in bootcamp. after he got out of boot camp we got married nothing big like i wanted just the justic of the peace just him and i and our son then he was stationed for school here when i am then he had to go to cherrypoint north carolina to finish his schooling and is a avation electronic tech. we dont get to see each other that much maybe a weekend a month thats about it. its really hard because he still seems to be the personthat he was before the marines like wanting just his friends and not really wanting to be a family man.
