I Explore the Who That I Am

By writing my thoughts and experiences down I not only understand myself more.I explore the who that I am. The mistakes that I have made with relationships have taught me alot. I have learned that self awarness,self-esteem,and trust can be broken and can be mended. It is hard not...

    Growing Colder

I wonder ... and would like to hear other people's experience with this.  I've become a stronger person overall.  But it seems that I've become colder too.  Is there a connection between becoming strong and becoming cold?  Or is it between growing older and...

    Uneven

I think it's true; so often it's uneven ... not mutual.  You like someone but that person doesn't like you as much back.  Someone likes you and wants to hang out but you don't feel the same.  What to do, what to do.

    Laughing And Crying Simultaneously

Rather suddenly, I began to cry and laugh at the same time.  That reminds me of the first time I dropped acid ... though I didn't cry or laugh, I swung back and forth between smiles and frowns for a brief period.  Until the freedom came, the release ... and my world...

    Who Am I Really?

"So now we may ask, if my body, emotions, thoughts, and personality are not original or created by me, who am I really?  According to many of the great spiritual traditions, one of the great truths is that "I am the other."  Without the other, we would...

    It's About You, Not Me

It doesn't matter who we are or what we're about.  All that matters is YOU and how you've changed. A dream: my partner and I were frauds.  Apparently we lied and/or misled people about our backgrounds, our names, etc.  However, I didn't have the impression we were...

    TF, Do You Feel Something?

I've been feeling a warm glow from my heart chakra for close to 24 hours now.  It really flares up at times.  I've been brutally honest with myself about a certain someone from long ago.  Just last night I admitted to myself that that person was/is...

    Depersonalization And Derealization

At times I think I become disconnected from the external world.  It's like I withdraw into myself and my interests.  I enjoy being by myself, surrounded by my hobbies and whatever pleases me.  But I think it goes a little too far at times.  It's like I forget...

    Depths

It has started since I joined E.P. and would probably continue going to the depths (eww-w-w) more in the future as long as I can allow myself to.

    Parents And Children

The child-parent relationship can be quite tricky and complex.  I realize this at random moments as I mature as a human. I had a dream this morning and from it I realized that my so-called parents never really asked about me.  I mean they never asked me questions...

    Aging

I've noticed that things fade and fall away as you get older.  As new "life" and new things happen, the old stuff doesn't matter so much.  Things like painful memories or sad feelings from past situations, all fade.  And stop hurting.  But things like...

    The Travelling Soul

I can't imagine being without a soul - well in essence I can, but would never wish to be so.  It would be as if the traveller had come to a meadow which was illuminated in the evening sunlight, flowers were in full blossom and the chirping of the birds, small warm breeze...

    When Life Is Messed Up

When you hit rock bottom that's when you find yourself dig deep within the depths of your soul for peace, comfort and love...  the irony is within this weak moment you discover strength and wisdom.  It's a thin line between happiness and dispair.  I been there many times...

    A Smiling Wall

Even today when I was crying and wanted to talk to a particular person, I didn't.  I couldn't.  This person has responded to my emotional "moments" before and vice versa but today I felt like I would "ruin" things between us by showing myself...

    Discovering the Soul

The soul. Our soul, your soul. Their soul.  The thing that people want so deeply to know and to understand fully - themselves.  First you must know the meaning of "I"... who am "I" .. what do I associate me with. When someone asks you who you are...
