Obesity to Athletic, and the Trip Back Again

In my 20's I somehow let myself go.  It wasn't just a little bit it was dangerously so.  I had allowed myself to baloon to over 200 Lbs and reach a BMI that was calculated as just 4 points away from Morbid Obesity.  I became obese, and was so close to the deathly...

    My Tread...

I got my treadmill yesterday; so nothing's stopping me now. I'm eating healthy. I'm keeping my eye on the prize! I'm so so so ready for May; the fist summer ever i'll feel *sorta* comfortable in my own skin. Hopefully I'll look acceptable.

    Trying Everything

How exercises really helps your temperament, and adds balance to your life! And what a difference it makes if you stop after a few months or even weeks. I have been aiming since December to get in fit.  Right now I am in experiment phase in which I am trying...

Lost 30... 50 More To Go!

Losing weight is so hard!  Working out always pushing me closer to my goal.  Ultimately, I would like to be a "healthy" thin and work toward a (female) six pack with nice, toned arms.  A lean athlethic body on a woman is very sexy, and I really would like...

    Working Out My Glutes!

When I tell people that I work out to get fit, the first reaction I get is "Look at you! You don't have to work out!" which makes sense from their point of view; I'm petite, 5'2'', and weigh about 104lbs. I "look" like I'm in great shape, the problem with that is that these...

Pretty Close, But Not There Yet.

I was out of shape 2 years ago.  I was the big guy,  got called that, "hey big guy", "how's it going big guy"  stuff like that.  I eventually took stock in life and realized I really had let my self go and it was going to take a lot of work...

Can Barely Manage Going Down All 45 Floors

My chief sporting activity is swimming and living in this big and expensive city is not really helpful. Back in my hometown, I could go swimming at the beach practically everyday. Here, only from the office (which is located on the highest floor in the tallest building in...

Day by day I get closer to my goals.

With every rep, I'm a little bit fitter and a little bit stronger. I've never been over weight or anything but I always want to challenge myself to be as fit as I can be and as strong as I can be
