    My Story

A couple of years ago, I suffered from depression. I had the usual signs and was thinking of the ways of how to kill myself. The thing was, I didn't know why I was sad, I just was. It made me feel heavy and useless and there was nothing to live for. I ...

And I could teach you how too.

Step one: Stop trying to please everyone because it's impossible. In fact, most people get annoyed when you try to make them happy. Step two: Accept yourself. If you think you're a horrible person, accept your most cruel and twisted thoughts and every other detail about you...

I beat depression but recently I see myself

falling back into it. I refuse to let it take hold again. One thing I learned from my depression was this may sound strange. I learned suffering I learned what it means to suffer and I learned how to endure. I fought it once and I will do it again.

    -"What is depression like?

" -"It's like drowning, except you see everyone around you breathing" Unknown. Nah, life sucks, it will stab you a thousand times and over in the most painful, distorted and twisted ways, unless you fight the pain and learn how to stand up on your own, even if it's shakily at...

First Time I Have Talked About It.

Well this is the first time I have talked about my battle with depression. I was always the kid who was happy no matter what and I was always optimistic. I guess that's why no one saw it coming. When I turned about 16, I lost someone very close to me. I believe that was when I...

As I look back there is

so many things I wish I would've said, done or not done. You look back in your past and it plays like a movie every day, reminding you of the bad times. I always wonder if I hadn't gone through that, who would I be? Would I be better, worse, happier, or depressed? For most the...

    Mhm. I remember back

when EP was awesome and allowed you to put goals, this used to be one of them. This very group was my top goal. All the time. I dreamed of the day when I could finally say, "Me Too." And when it actually happened, when I was sure that I was free, I joined. And I continue to join...
