Since I was a tomboy I always got along better

with guys. Things got a little more complicated when I got older and started liking some men in other ways. I think that a lot of guys hate being put in the "friend zone" but then I also have male friends who I've known forever and there never has been anything between us.

I'd love to have guy friends,

but it seems like it is impossible sometimes. Though I treat them and talk to them as I would a female friend, it seems like they think I'm flirting. Then things get awkward and it seems like I'm the only one who thinks we can just resume friendship after I make it clear I only...

I'm not really sure what there is to "believe".

Cross-sex friendship is not a religion or an ideology that you have to "believe" in it. Either you can be friends with the opposite sex or you can't, there is nothing to "believe" in.

with anyone else they want to be friends with! people have control over who they do and don't want to get romantically or sexually involved with! to think that they just immediately wanna hop in the sack together is just plain silly!
