    The Cafe

I was shopping alone when suddenly someone tweaked me on the shoulder. I froze. Who could this be with such a personal touch? It was my Mum! She laughed. "Who were you expecting?" We decided to go for a coffee but she told me if I gave her the money (I was paying) she'd pay and...

Small Things Can Make A Big Difference

First of all, I have to admit that I am addicted to Facebook. I'm usually not in to technology or fads and I have always felt a little sheep-like for enjoying it so much. Yesterday my friend Jessica, who owns a pet store posted an ad about a missing yellow lab. The dog went...

    Sweet Lady

A random lady who lives four houses from mine came to knock on my door just a couple of days ago. She was a stranger someone I have never even seen before. She introduced herself and explained she wanted to help my family. We are new to the neighborhood and she had heard from...

    Unexpected Acts Of Kindness

It's not the grand gestures or the deliberate acts attached to an agenda or ulterior motive, which shine the brightest, it's the small acts of unexpected kindness which ultimately disarms me the most. I also like the picture of the dog and the deer, it's so sweet diabetics...

A common belief in what at times seems to be a

cynical age is that we are powerless to make any real difference to the lives of others. It is true, we're not super big organizations with grand strategies and perhaps lack a definite end plan but it's so not necessary. That's because they're many things that make us as...

Kindness Goes A Long Way..but Sometimes Hits A Brick Wwall.

I do believe a little kindness goes a long way. But It becomes a problem being kind in the face of adversity. It becomes problem when it is a choice between being true to your character, and your personality. When you are faced with having to defend yourself, and the choice...

It is true when people say

that a Little Act of Kindness Goes A Long Way, because it can affect someone in ways that no one could understand. Even the little things can make someone out there very happy and make their lives so much better. Some people don't realize the impact they make when being nice to...

It's very difficult to do a lot of the time but,

I try not go judge someone by their appearances, or their words and behaviour, I try to add a little kindness to my thoughts. People are complex in their reactions to what they perceive, nothing should be taken easy at face value, because life isn't like that!
