Age definitely does NOT define maturity.

I personally know someone who was much more mature when they were younger. This same individual, now older, is one of the most immature know-it-alls I've ever known.

    It really doesn't. I've seen middle-aged men

act like hormonal teenagers and teenagers display great intelligence and maturity for their age. There's nothing sadder and more obnoxious than an adult twice your age acting like a pouty child. Unfortunately, that seems to be becoming a lot more common these days...

In my opinion, maturity doesn't come with age,

it comes with experience. I find it extremely annoying when adults tell younger people that they are too young to understand something, or they aren't smart enough to understand something because of their age. It seems like a lot of adults act like they are superior to younger...

    Maturity comes with experience.

It does not come with age as evidence from this site has shown. I have seen young people here showing this and older people showing the opposite. OK I may be stating the obvious but I said it anyway.

I believe age defines very little in fact.

Age is merely a number allotted to us by ourselves as a means of division. Like "oh you're 18. You are so young, still have so much to learn. You have your whole life ahead of you." Yet that same 18 year old you just told that to may have already witnessed his mother dying, two...
