I am really mature for my age.

Also couples with age gaps are really cute, my family is full of them.People consider you young and dumb just because you are younger then them and I think that is unfair. Reply if you agree and think that age is just a number :P

I'm tired of what people think define me.

. GPA, age, weight, height, number of likes, my face, my gender.. They don't define who I am.. They only put me in cages of what you THINK I am

I just got in a bit of a commenting spat with

someone -- for his privacy, I won't use his name, but he was in the 46-50 year old range. You would think that he would be more mature about it, but instead, he reduced himself to childish name-calling. I asked him to provide a source for a ridiculous lie that he made up, and...

I'm nineteen, and I'm more mature

than most 30 year olds. I was forced to grow up fast. I don't think we should judge people by their ages.

    Why do people believe

that age determines intelligence? Why is a middle-aged woman who hasn't opened a book since highs hook smarter than the twenty four year old that researches daily? Older people have had more opportunities to learn, but this does not necessarily mean they have taken those...

When people my age act like they know

everything, I can't help but shake my head, because the fact is we really don't. We haven't experienced enough of adult life, even if we think we have. Sure, some have experienced more than others, but this is just the beginning of all that is to come. You can only fit so much...

I live alone with my son, I handle all my bills, I attend college full time whilst being a single mother and still manage the highest grades in the class, I got accepted onto a course designed for 25+ at 18 years old because I was so mature they made an exception (and that's...

    Age doesn't make a man.

I have always felt old enough to know what to do with my young feelings. You’re never too old to be young, and never too young to be old. Your age doesn't define your maturity, your grades don't define your intellect and rumors don't define who you are. Maturing is realizing...

    Maturity comes with experience.

It does not come with age as evidence from this site has shown. I have seen young people here showing this and older people showing the opposite. OK I may be stating the obvious but I said it anyway.

I believe age defines very little in fact.

Age is merely a number allotted to us by ourselves as a means of division. Like "oh you're 18. You are so young, still have so much to learn. You have your whole life ahead of you." Yet that same 18 year old you just told that to may have already witnessed his mother dying, two...

In my opinion, maturity doesn't come with age,

it comes with experience. I find it extremely annoying when adults tell younger people that they are too young to understand something, or they aren't smart enough to understand something because of their age. It seems like a lot of adults act like they are superior to younger...

I am 14, and probably most of you will go like:

"Then go and play with your barbies". No thanks. I consider myself more mature than a lot of people I own age and even older. I am self conscious of my acts and aware of the consequences. And some adults dont seem to be like that... Which is really disappointing and irritating.
