Wtf, why not? These days there's way too much

focus on constitutional and human rights, etc. it's like political correctness gone mad! I think a person in a terminally ill situation has the right to decide how they die. **** it

I strongly believe in assisted suicide.

I have decided that since it is not legal in Canada I will make my own arrangements to depart on my terms. On the other hand my wife is strongly against it. My plan is like this.... If I become ill and am diagnosed with a terminal illness ; rather than allowing her to have...

Why Is It Cruel To Make A Dog Keep Living When They'Re In Pain, But Not A Human?

People always talk about human lives being more valuable than animal lives, but why is it that an animal's comfort is being treated as more important than a human's? Is living in pain really better than dying in peace? Why do we have the right to life and not the right to death...

MOST People Believe It Should Be Legal...

Why is it that we know that euthanising sick and suffering animals is not only acceptable, but the right thing to do, yet when it comes to people, it's wrong?  I've seen relatives suffer through their final days because they didn't have the strength to euthanize...

Euthanasia is legal where I come from

as two different types. Active and passive. I have been offered active. It is legal if the 4 conditions are met. If Death is drawing near, suffering from unbearable physical pain, all other forms of pain relief are exhausted and if I consent. The first 3 have been met and I don...

    No Doubt

Death is a person's most private moment.   Why not decide for yourself how to die?  I have no doubt in my mind that I do not want to waste away in bed nor do I wish to be in pain. When I've had enough...I want the option to say good bye with dignity.  Why...

    Turn-offs

The arguments for and against euthanasia are so strong on both sides that it's tough to decide. The Anti-It position, for me, doesn't rely on any awful 'Pro-life' illogic or religious concerns, it is entirely down to the mean-minded nature of people; some people will kill a loved...

    It Should Be A Choice.

If you are going to die,

then I believe that you should have the ability to choose to die sooner than later. If you are in pain and there is no hope, then I don't see what is wrong with euthanasia. I just believe that you should do what you want.

    An Option to Consider

If a person is in enough pain and suffering, then euthanasia should be legalized. I wouldn't want to see my loved ones in extreme pain, and if they are willing, I think it would be an option.
