I Believe In Feminism

Let me just start by saying I mostly agree with

feminism's ideal to strive for equal rights for both men and women, to discuss feminism is not my goal in this post. I am simply saddened by the fact that there are feminists out there who simply don't have any respect for me and automatically assume that each and every thing I...

Depends On How To Define It

Feminism is an odd word actually. It is a word that was created by the powers-that-be when the suffrage movement first began as a derisive term. Angry feminists are not helpful. They've been abused in some way, either physically or emotionally and are, for the most part...

    I think it's absolutely stupid

that women don't have the same rights as men. We're all humans yet we treat each other differently. If your afraid of feminism your afraid of change and change can be for the good.

    Is feminism the same thing

as anti-sexism? Do feminists abhor the unrealistic expectations our society has for men as much as they do the female stereotypes? I know men can be feminists and I know the definition of feminism as "the radical notion that women are people too", but what about men? Are men...

Hello ladies and gentlemen I am curious about

what you define as feminism and who you think needs it. Is there a wage gap? Should men hit women back? How would you determine the power of a punch? By it's force or the damage it does? Do you think genderstudies is a useful major? The question goes for useful, not for...

    I Also Believe In Feminism

I’ve always been a hard core feminist. I despise sexism and feel it is every bit as vile as racism. A sexist remark is like a raciest remark and says the same thing about the person making it. I have volunteered with NOW and go to meetings when I can travel the 100...

Why Do We Have To Fight For Equal Rights Still?

    To Me...

Feminism simply stands for equality. Everybody isn't equal, but everyone should be presented the same opportunities in life, regardless of their gender. Today I think it is pretty clear that this is not the case. Feminism isn't "finished", not by a long shot.

    I don't believe in feminism,

as I don't think it is so much as a religion that is based on things that may or may not be true but the way as humans we were once and still could be, together without the constraints of patriarchy or the hating and objectification that has been now plastered on women

I, however, do not agree with radical feminism.

They're just hurting the cause. They give people a reason to say that feminism is terrible and man hating. It is not. Feminism is about equality for all genders. It's not just about women but it does focus on them. How can you think people not on the gender binary/trans* people...
