and adaptive coping strategies you can use every day: You don't need to talk to a therapist -- venting hurts and resentments with a trusted friend or family member can be beneficial. Writing down your hurts and resentments in a letter can be a form of commitment. Then trash or...

It took me a long time to forgive the family

for hurting me. I prayed just about every day for several years to be willing to forgive them. I finally did not too long ago, and it felt good to be free from the burden, the hurt, the anger. I also wanted God to forgive me also. So now I am forgiven and blessed. Now I can...

If you cheated on me that's different. If you cheated on me, don't come near me, don't come back to my house to give me flowers for your sorriness I'm not having it. If you come by I'm throwing my heels at your head. I would come get my things that I left at your house. Don't...

Being Forgiving Does Not Mean Be A Doormat

I think Forgiving someone does not automatically exclude you from saying No, I am done. Saying no and saying you are forgiven can go hand in hand. It simply says, yes i will forgive you, but i will not allow you to hurt me again. I think that forgiving someone, and allowing them...

To move forward in our lives,

it is essential to practice forgiveness. Harboring negative feelings towards another only serves to cause one inner bitterness. A long held grudge is poison.

I think that it's so easy to make mistakes,

it's just what people do, it's so common. I think we should be nicer with each other and just forgive, I think that would make the world a better place to live in. People are people and making mistakes is what helps us learn.
