Here are the 3 types of Shadow people.  Yes they are REAL.

Types

Category 1

This category falls into drugs use, seizures, and other mental issues. This category covers a very vast description and is known to have descriptions that may or may not match what others describe in category 2 and 3. Category 1 actually may not be considered shadow people at all due to the non consistancy in the descriptions.

Category 2

This category falls more into the ghost and spirit category. The descriptions in this category are as follows: non human shaped shadows or masses of human shaped shadow people in one place, insect shadows, animal shadow people, and women shadow people. These are mostly see thru shadows. Category 2 shadow people tend to be drawn more to a location than a person. It is common for this category to actually try and not become seen. Light may affect this group.

Category 3

This category does not fall into the ghost or Spirit category. This category has only 2 types of shadow people, One tall shadow man and several small hooded "twin" style shadow people. These are usually seen non see thru however they may be see thru. This category is more drawn to a person rather than a place, this category may actually be drawn to a certain spirit or ghost as well as humans. This category tends to not care about being seen. Light has no effect on this group.

i am 53 bear...read my encounter in i believe in the paranormal...these shadow people i see,are like a super black gelatin type mass,that moves,a tarp almost,yet you can see through it..i also am a regular in i believe in aliens..i am on late nite to talk..would like to...53bear

At my mum's house, there was shadow people there as well.  I was walking into the kitchen when I saw them.  They weren't see through and the shadows were of 2 or 3 people.  The shadows were on the wall as if there were people standing in front of it.  It was about 3 in the morning and there were no lights on either outside or inside.

I had an experience with the Type 3 Tall Man or Hat Man Shadow person when I was younger.  I do believe that this sort can be attracted to certain people or even families.  Three family members have seen this same creature at different times.  Myself, my older brother, and my cousin have all seen this thing.  My brother and I both saw it back in the 70's, at different times.  My cousin just saw it several years ago.  But the funny thing is none of us shared this information with each other or anyone else until about 6 yrs ago. 

Strange experience.

It interesting that some people have mentioned a "tall man". I never witnessed this but a friend of mine who had rented a house swore she saw a tall man in the hallway at night - but this was the part that freaked her out the man's head she said was shaped like a q-tip. 

No way! When I was younger the only shadow person I would see is a tall man with a hat on. Repetitively for about 3 years I would see him in multiple places, just a misty dark entity. I haven't seen one/him since I was 9, but I remember it.

last week i was sittin in my living room when i saw this black figure moving up and down our hallway.It just kept walkin up and down the hallway.After a minute i got up and turned the hallway light on and it dissapeared.Do u know what it was?

Hello I am Mawna, I just joined this group, when I saw the one title concerning 'Shadow People'. Now call me 'stupid' but until not very long ago, did I actually KNOW that others have this same 'name' for these people. I have called them 'Shadow People' for years, but I would not talk to another about these people I see, from time to time. Actually I just passed it off as me being very different than most people.

I read the 3 categories that a person gave to shadow people. I only have experienced one type. I will tell you that I have seen these people for years. But one in particular, I am now attributing to being attached to my husband and that is why I am now writing this out.

A few years back, my husband told me, that he has felt for a long time, that something or someone, had been 'following' him around during his life, for years. He could not describe it to me very well, as he is not an out spoken man. And generally would not allow these kinds of thoughts slip from his mouth. But he did let that slip one day.

This is my experience with this particular Shadow Person. One day, while sitting at my computer, out of the corner of my right eye I caught a movement of sorts. Enough to make me look straight in the direction of the movement. My husband was sit in the bed sleeping. As I turned to look, there was the black form, of what I 'felt' was a male. He was of normal height, and black like ones shadow against a wall. BUT he was solid. He had form. I could see his head and arms and legs. It was broad morning day light. So I knew my eyes were not playing tricks on me in any way. As I looked in his direction, he raised his head; as he had been bent over looking down at my sleeping husband. He stopped in mid motion and if he would have had features I could tell he saw me also. With out thinking I jumped from my chair I was sitting in and ran as fast as I could towards him. It was like I took him off guard as he just stood there as I came at him. I whispered as loud as I could with out waking my husband. "YOU get away from him and go now!" He turned to his left and like in a dead run, towards the wall, he was gone. I did not tell my husband until very recently, as I had just finished watching a show that described what I had always described to myself as Shadow People. Of course my husband chose to act as if I was insane. Naturally.

But today I have had several thoughts come together concerning this matter. My husbands Dad, died tramatically and very, very suddenly at the age of 40. His sudden death took the entire family by such surprise and disbelief, that they all these years later still morn over his sudden passing.  My husband was only 19 and they were very close. As they ran the family farm together. They were best of friends.

I now wonder if the shadow person I saw and the person my husband spoke to me that ONE time about, could indeed be his Dad? I have actually waited and looked for this shadow person to return to my home, but since that one morning, I have not seen him again.

BUT he was a real as you or I. And he reacted with intelligence, he saw me as I saw him. He heard me tell him to go and he went right before my very eyes.

we had shadow people in the house I just moved out of. for real. the tall man was there, and short kid size one. several of us saw them. I belive they are demonds. does anyone else believe that? o they are real all right,

 We moved into our house in 1997,. I used to walk past the place when they were building the ''houses'' in the early 70's on my way to school,. The only thing i learned was they were built over a pond,.

We'd been here a few months, when this incident occurred, it was about 2:00am, we were going to bed, after watching a late film, and at the top of the stairs, i could see people like ''shadows'' stood there, there were about four of them, i thought! ''ooh!! what the''  they appeared to be stood on a raised step, which i knew wasn't there, because there is'nt a raised step, i could see them even though it was dark, but there was light shining from the kitchen, my husband was stood right by the side of me, and saw nothing,. I told him of them and he said i must have been dreaming, which we both put it down too! i've seen nothing since,.
