I Believe In Random Acts of Kindness

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 2,428 People

There was this guy in my school,

really cool but I personally do not know him. Last night he spent most of his personal time making 130 cookies. Cookies that he chose to give out to everyone, for absolutely no reason at all except for the kindness of his heart. Why am I having such a hard time coping with this...

    I don't get many opportunities

because I don't go out much and I hardly have any money.. But the times I have done acts of kindness they felt very rewarding. Sometimes people (especially younger) might think they're 'creepy' for some stupid reason but adults and more mature people seem to appreciate them more...

random acts of kindness are the best because people are so surprised by them, why treat someone well on their birthday and not the other 364 days.

    Random Acts of Kindness

Usually, I spend Thanks Giving eating way more than I should and we all state the things we are thankful for, but this year I started early and tried random acts of kindness to give others things to feel thankful for. To help someone else feel they were cared for. It coudn't hurt...

Today I arrived home to find a box of flowers,

new dog leash and a lovely note, as payment for a random act of kindness I performed. It has restored my faith in mankind, to have my selfless gesture appreciated by the owner. She told me I had saved her from paying $500 in fees. Being an avid animal lover, I noticed 2 dogs...

For the most part, you see the same people on the beach, but today was different. As we set up our "camp" (umbrellas, chairs, bogey boards, surf boards, etc...), I noticed a new family near us. I have a routine, apply sunscreen, AKA coconut oil, recline my chair and chill. It...

but whenever I play those claw machines rather then keep it I usually love giving little kids what I win. Or I'll go to a game room spend like 30$ an give all the tickets to a small child that maybe can't win that much.. Either way It still feels great to see that smile
