I Believe Laughter Heals

    Someone Call 911

She responded “LMAO” but I thought, “Um, it wasn’t a joke.” I have always been more of a “Haha” kind of person myself but I only write “haha” when I am actually “haha-ing” on my end. If I’m not laughing you will not find me embellishing a text with LOL or...

    Moving On

For a week I've been sad over a break up. I felt my depression coming back hardcore and I didn't know how to handle myself. For a few days I really lost sight in this. Today I kind of got closure. It's not what I wanted to hear of course, but I've accepted that there's nothing...

    Verlerne niemals so zu lachen,

wie du lachst so froh und frei. Denn ein Leben ohne lachen ist wie ein Frühling ohne Mai. Never unlearn to laugh, how you laughed so glad and free. Because a life without laughing is like a spring without May. (In German it is a rhyme :,D. I just like this :) ...)

    Too Much Analysis

Too Much Analysis Two psychiatrists were walking down a hall. One turned to the other and said, "Hello." The other one thought, "I wonder what he meant by that."

    Tastes Better Than Medicine!

It's been psychologically and scientifically proven that people with healthy mental and emotional states have healthier bodies and lives, and they get over illnesses faster.  Laughing keeps you mentally and emotionally healthy.  Therefore, by transitive property...

Laughter Really Is The Best Medicine

Laughter REALLY is the best medicine. I don't care what anyone says. Laughter has healing powers. When I used to  do my rounds at the hospital, I would joke around with my patients and their loved ones. Just silly little things: "What are you still doing in that bed...

    The beauty of people

who can laugh, and smile and genuinely so. Never will I tell a person who laughs to stop laughing if they are expressing joy, unless it's harmful to someone else or about an evil thought. Laugher heels people. After all that has happened, laughter is the only thing to do really...

I believe that no matter how sad

or angry or hurt you are, laughter will make it better no matter what. At least it does for me. If I couldn't laugh in life then I wouldn't want to live.

    Healing In Its Own Way

I don't believe that a physical illness can be healed with laugher. Amusement or general positivity may help, but laughter itself? Don't think so. Laughter is a way of venting, of letting out stress, difficult feelings, anger or fear. Laughter is of course also a natural response...
