"cuss Words, Are Just Words" :-)

I have to agree on this one, "i too believe "cuss words" are just words",. O.k. they sound aweful to listen too!, and it is very, very rare i use them,. But at the end of the day, they are just "words" man made up,. I have noticed, listening to an arguement, some people just...

I don't understand why people feel offended

or insulted when I use cuss words as I've explained to them many times they are just words. I got to an all girls school and it's very religious so technically it's considered a crime to use cuss words...

i don't mind the usual ones

that come to mind, but when they are used as a way to call names, thats not good. also, it feels great to cuss, and a study shows it helps to relieve pain, say, if you stub your toe.

i think "cuss words" are just words you say out

of nowhere when you are mad like my friends "cuss" a lot when they are mad and so do i but i believe "cuss words" are just words and they have no bad meaning to them for example: ***** means female dog (that's what i've heard millions of times)

    What's The Deal Really?

Yeah, they're just man-made words. Some people even say that it's a sin or something to cuss. Huh? How is that sinful? It's not nice to malevolently cuss at someone, but I kinda find them funny to use. Using them in weird random sentences cracks me up. Words are just friggin...

    Words themselves are not bad,

the way you use them can make them bad.

    Psychologically speaking.

People use cuss words when they don't have the language skills to express how they feel. But. Old and educated as I am. I confess that nothing expresses my dissapointment better than a short, sharp, b•!!•ck$!

    I Believe

Yes, I believe that cuss words are only words, unless someone uses them in anger, and then they can hurt. But you have to watch your words around certain people. Because not everyone believes the way I do. Some people believe that it's improper to say Jesus Christ, as if they...

    Dammit

They are just words, and I am not offended by them, but when someone uses them in harsh tones or says them every other word in a sentence, it does start to get on my nerves. I generally try to use swear words only when it's funny or going to illustrate my point better, and I...

    Effing A!!!

I love to curse.  I think the words are hilarious and I love the say the filthiest, crudest things I can think of.  When I'm angry, there is no other word like F***!  Gah, it just feels good.

    They Are

No other words can express the feelings that you are looking to express. I don't know why they are considered bad. They are just words. There are only a few words that actually hold consequence, these of course are unknown to most so you won't say them anyway.

    Just Words

I know someone who when they're upset vents like someone who cusses but replaces sh_t, damn, or f_ck with toned down words while implying the same meaning. Seems to me it means the same thing. Replacing f_cking with frigging means basically the same thing doesn't it?

What's the deal with people freaking out

when they hear someone say it?... It's literally just a word... That's all it is, and for people saying it's a bad word, it's only bad if you make it bad..

Cuss words are words like any other.

Any word though, can be offensive. Words are our most powerful tool. No matter if it's a cuss word or your average word used in anger. When we use words with the intent to harm or hurt its a poor choice.
