the worst thing an administrator or politician could ever (EVER) do, is remove the arts from public schools.  the arts are essential for everyone, not just artists.  the arts - movies, plays, paintings, books, poetry, singing...

I am, primarily, a visual artist, but this group could apply to any kind of art.  I discovered that I would be an artist, at the ripe old age of three.  I can't imagine what I would do without it, and after so many years of...

Art has helped me emotionally recover from situations or release how I feel instead of keeping it inside....Since I don't usually have an outlet where I can describe how I'm feeling -- I don't feel comfortable sharing it with family...

but it did save my life and my sanity.  I took it up in high school and have been doing it ever since.  While other teens were getting involved in drugs and god knows what, I was playing with my camera.  It became my friend...

On Blogtv there's a channel called ArtistsForLife and they raise money for the Live Strong foundation. I think it's awesome that so many artists contribute their time to help raise money.

Is that it sure helped save mine and helped me from becoming a total juvenile delinquent . LOL !!!
