The Closest Thing I Have to a Religion

Photography Didn't Provide Me With A Living..........................

but it did save my life and my sanity.  I took it up in high school and have been doing it ever since.  While other teens were getting involved in drugs and god knows what, I was playing with my camera.  It became my friend, companion and an outlet for all my teen angst...

    Mortal Sin

the worst thing an administrator or politician could ever (EVER) do, is remove the arts from public schools.  the arts are essential for everyone, not just artists.  the arts - movies, plays, paintings, books, poetry, singing, instruments, etc. are the fault-lines to...

    Just My Opinions

These are just my opinions :)I think people ..just end it all because they just can't deal with the stress. There is a lot of pain in the world and i don't blame them for it.And I believe art is one of the many things out there that could help..perhaps..ease the pain.I know it...

I Am A Painter Too Sad To Paint

when I look at the canvas, I see nothing.  I force it, thinking something will come, but it comes and I hate it.  Then, I hate myself.  I end up destroying the canvas and hurting myself and being all alone.  I can't do it, nothing is coming out.  Patience doesn't work...

    It Can Save Lives

    All I Have

My life tends to feel irreversibly screwed up, and sometimes I feel like art is the only thing I have to keep me going... It's like it's the only thing I can express myself to without feeling guilty or overbearing or wrong... Things have come and gone, and I know this...

    Makes Me Feel Accomplished

Art has helped me emotionally recover from situations or release how I feel instead of keeping it inside....Since I don't usually have an outlet where I can describe how I'm feeling -- I don't feel comfortable sharing it with family/friends really at all -- I paint abstract art...
