I Believe That Less Is More

    The Rich Get Richer And...

I am pleased to read that the wealthy are paying higher rates of income tax than I had formerly believed, but still question the wisdom of lower tax rates on their investment income. The usual argument for these lower rates, of course, is that investment provides jobs which, in...

"...if you try sometimes, you just might find, that you get what you need..." - the Rolling Stones

You Can't Always Get What You Want... ...if you try sometime, you might find, you can get what you need... The breeding ground for greed is fear and low self-esteem, a commodity widely spread by the systematic promotion of paranoia; by the glorification of ‘keeping-up-with-the...

    I Like It Simple

    So True

I've always kind of believed in this, not just with "stuff," though, but with life in general.  I want to be noticed for other things besides what I'm wearing and that kind of thing, and I feel people that have to go out of their way to be noticed are just so...

    For Some Things

I used to scoff at the idea. Then as I got older, more mature and less extreme about everything, I started to get it. It really is true in some things.

There Is Nothing Good About Greed

i dont do the greed thing. Less is more in my eyes. People are losing track of reality by surrounding themselves with lots of uneccesary junk...whats it all about does it make them feel better about themselves does it make them feel superior...half of them get themselves in debt...

    Are We Moving Ahead Backwards?

Perhaps the current economic crisis is an opportunity for us to reevaluate our lifestyles, and to reflect on our general health and well-being as compared to earlier, simpler periods in our lives. Having lived through sixty-four years of continuous...

Moderation is always key.  I'd rather have a few nice, timeless things, rather than a million little trends.
