Tolerance Is Pretty Cool, So I've Heard

Some people don't understand how picking on somebody can really ruin their day. Or their life. You never really know how someone will react.. What's wrong with just being "ok" with everybody? I don't see why drama, especially identifying people by their faults instead...

I tend to have a very short fuse, and no patience for people who are ignorant or selfish.  I should be more tolerant, and maybe try to find out why a person is like that.

    It Makes Me Sad...

I just seen another group that starts "I Hate.. and ended with people with no common sense, it makes me sad to my core. I will tell you why. My step children whom I work with every day were born with learning disabilities, and you can't even tell, sometimes it is very...

I Refuse To Be A "victim"

I did not choose to be on the receiving end of threats, insults assault and intolerance. Yet, it happens because I have chosen to be me. My crime? I am "Trans" - on the transgendered continuum. I occasionally interface with the world from my feminine perspective. I dress age...

Tolerant? Accepting. One implies letting something happen, but not letting it be--it's passive aggressive. The other implies letting something be because you see the beauty, even when the bad is shadowing it.

    YES. ...

YES. I tend to be very close minded about things than others. And they are very strange things too. I hate people who complain all the time and I often find myself telling someone to suck it up and quit complaining because I don't give a crap. I should just be more patient.

I can't believe I hadn't found this group sooner... As idealistic as it may sound, I feel this is the sole purpose in my life, to advocate tolerance, acceptance. After all, diversity is the spice of life.

    Especially On Here!

Seriously people, get a grip. People are on this site because they want a place where they can be open and honest and get things off their chest without being disrespected. Most of us have enough of that going on in other parts of our life. we don't need it here. This should be a...

How can we recieve tolerance if we project intolerance, it goes back to my first belief that change happens in the mirror. Many times others will judge you and yet have they even walked in your shoes, is it fair? I have been abandoned and shunned through my life unfairly so, then...

The ******* horridness of discrimination. There is something everything can be discriminated because of, and because of this, we should have learned a long time ago that if we hate one person we shoudl hate all persons. Just, don't hate please. Everyone needs someone.

    Poor Guy...

I used to know this guy who had problems with speaking, everyone was just so mean to him about it. Poor thing, he really was a genuinely nice guy, people just never got the message.

Don't Judge Until You've Walked In the Other Person's Shoes...

It's our differences that make us special and unique and we need to accept that in everyone and start treating everyone with respect.   Fat, or thin...young or old.....healthy or not.....we,as a society, need to grow up and stop being so immature.   Laughing...
