Who really wants that fair tale ending.

Disney taught me that I have to have a skinny figure. I don't want that That I have to be heterosexual. (I am. But not everyone is and that's okay) That my price charming will come later on in life. (Not during schooling years) that may not be true That people trust people...

    Where's My Prince?!

Yeah, so I blame Disney for that I believe in princes on white horses, who can wake you up with their kiss or rescue you from horrible dragon. Princes that will love from first sight, deeply and forever and live with the princess long and happily. And that I can be a princess...

    Isn't That The Truth!

I can't believe how long I went through a Cinderella complex and was sure there was a Prince out there to rescue me from my broken childhood home. Then I stayed in an abusive relationship thinking I was Beauty and he was the Beast. Like it was my destiny. I went through a Goofey...

    Once Upon A Broken Heart....

When I was little, I had like every disney princess movie ever made. I was a disney fanatic. As I grew older, I began to think that there was a such thing as love at first sight and I thought I would find my prince before living happily ever after. I entered HS and learned...

    Pssst. Listen To This.......

So I know that gossiping at work does not make for happy relationships, but I swear that people bend over backwards trying to get me involved lol. I always end up the mediator, the go between, the referee etc. I am determined to stay out of all of it this time. Today when it...

Well..... Maybe I Should Just Give Up On My Expactations, Ay.

I've always had too many and too high expectations of men. I always wanted to find a gentleman who is charming, sweet, kind, polite, has table manners, ties his shoes, puts his shirt in his pants, doesn't use nasty language (maybe for some moments I wouldn't mind it.. girls u...

    It Really Did

And I think the same can be said vice versa. Men and women are portrayed as too grand, too perfect in Disney movies. And the result? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't divorce skyrocketing and higher in the U.S. than anywhere else, really isn't that the painful truth?

    So Much For That...

i had this idea that love would be wonderful. Then i met my boyfriend. At first it was wonderful, now everything i do upsets him. Disney shows men as there wonderful beings that save you from all dangers. I guess i expected too much. Some men are selfish.
