    It's True

I know how to cook but this whole easily distracted thing means I can also mess up a meal in a heartbeat. Maybe it's ADD? I get so caught up in ANYTHING else, including my own mind, and I forget and before you know it the smoke alarm is going off and the house is full of smoke...

    Who Can't?

Everyone CAN burn food in the microwave. Doesn't mean they do, but they have the capacity for such a task. I don't think I've ever burnt something in there though. I either don't cook it long enough or just right. Actually, I take that back. I did burn one thing in a microwave...

    Its Always Popcorn

I literally cannot make popcorn without burning it. I don't know why. I've exploded marshmellows, broken the turn plate, set things on fire wrapped in foil, put food that shouldn't go into the nuclear zap machine that I wish could. Even tho I don't own a "Micrawave" I...

    Just the Once!

    I'm Told I'm a Great Chef...

...but it wasn't always so. To this day, I have people remind me of one episode of stupidity. I was a freshman in college, and I'd gone to my room to eat lunch that day so I could work on a project. I remember it was a Tuesday, because on Tuesdays all freshmen had to take that...

    Much Better

I've gotten much better at it and only leave the food in there for a minute at a time but I used to stink the house up with burnt popcorn. EEWW! That stuff stinks! We lived in a dorm for a while and had a mini fridge and a microwave so you learn to cook all sorts of stuff that...

First of all, I must blame my mum. ;> I swear, she was the one who told me to put the egg in the microwave to cook it. I put it in for 5 mins, and at around 2 mins, it went KABOOM! Moly, it gave everyone in the kitchen a start! I only wanted to have a boiled egg for...

    Burnt and Cold?

Am I the only one who can try to cook something in the microwave and end up with half of it burnt and the other half still cold?
