    It's Ridiculous

how long i've been striving to master this skill! i can't even cook, yet every time i crack an egg i always try (and fail) to pull off one of those perfect one-handed cracks some people are so good at. i won't give up, but since i can barely crack an egg decently with two hands...

    No Probs!

I've ALWAYS been able to crack an egg with one hand. That's the way I've been taught....   Mind you, ONLY with my left hand....can't do it with the right one for toffee!   And I'm right handed too....so what's that all about?   Samantha xx

    It Is Easy

Actually it seems easier to do with one hand than with two.

    Both At Once!

Hold on, save your ooo la la's because I learned how to do it at a restaurant I worked in. I don't even want to think about how many flats of eggs I cracked to learn it.

    Hours of Practice

It's the amount of hours I spend making cookies for the kids on the street that I now have a special quality of cracking eggs one handed, while handling a screaming kid in the other. Yet another of my 'special' and mostly useless talents.

I can do it because my exgirlfriend gave me a lot of **** for wanting to learn how to do it but not being successful.I love proving people wrong who don't think I can do something, so there we go. Of the various mechanics of it, the most key part is the wrist. Its all in a very...

    Good Thing Too

I'm thankful that a friend encouraged me to try doing this back when I was in elementary school. It was quite easy. Just after high school I broke my left thumb in the car, trying to put my snow board clothes on. (Sounds retarded, I know) Thing is, I still went snow boarding all...

    Practice Makes Perfect

    I've Tried A Few Times ...

I've tried a few times ... but instead of making an omelet I made a mess. Some things I'm better at cheering someone else doing something better than me. I can do a lot of things ok but cracking eggs with one hand isn't one of them. Even with two hands I have trouble being...

This Is a Goal of Mine

because i love to cook and i always feel really jealous when i see the chefs on tv who can do this or chop super fast. however, after making myself scrambled eggs this morning, i think it is a long way off! the egg cracked completely in half and all the half the shell went in the...
