I Can Hear Music In My Head

It's Part Of What I Am

Since a child I have always had music in my head. So often it drowns out conversation. At social events, I find myself preoccupied by music that I either have already listened to or am making up in my head. Rhythms, chordal textures...it's always been there. I value it...

I memorize songs I love, and put them away in my mind for later use. I use these songs for entertainment, to cope with situations I don't like, to lift up my mood, and more. I usually replay certain parts of songs and jump around. I don't just remember the lyrics; I remember most...

I Have The Wrong Man'S Gift.

People do what they have to, what they want to, what they love to, and very occasionally, someone has a real gift for it, but also, very occasionally, people have the wrong gift.I am a mathematician, i never learned to play an instrument, despite showing real talent at piano, it...

    Musical Dreams

Every now and then I have dreams that take the form of a musical. Those dreams are always incredibly colorful and fun. Too bad I can't remember how the music sounded when I wake up.

    Music In My Head

Ok, this is kind of hard to explain, but when I want to I can hear original music in my head - with the instrumentation of an orchestra or band or whatever. I can control it, but sometimes the harmonies just come to me. It's so weird. Maybe everyone does it, who knows. :D ~M~

    My Poor Friends And Family....

Every time I write a new song I have a natural urge to share it with everyone. I can only imagine to some of my friends it's like, "Not another one! I can't spare the 4 minutes." So knowing that this is a possibility, I try very hard to write as catchy a song as I can create...

For about one year I have been hearing a series

of about 7 songs every day, one being played each day constantly. It wakes me up and stops when I turn on my TV . I can also change the song to one that has not been played by simply singing it. Relieved and happy that I am not alone.
