Went out today with my dog on the trails.

The snow was beautiful and so much fun. Till I slipped and hit my knee on log. The joys of nature :)

    Our physical world, respect

and explore, Where water meets land; a beautiful shore. Mountains we conquer, look down in awe, If you're an artist, make sure you draw. Nature exciting, adventurously new, Much more to see, than a sky that is blue. It offers so much, open your eyes, Hope of today, with...

I love hiking up the mountainside behind my

house through the woods. There are trails back there that lead up to a look out high on the rock face. It looks down the valley to the lake. It is beautiful and quite and most of the year there are hardly any people there. I love hiking up there on my own and just sitting in the...

I feel like in this face paced society,

nature is somewhat of a drug to me. I get anxious if I go too long without a good hike or meditate in the woods.

BLUE SKIESI went for a walk this Saturday

morning where my parents live south of Rome in Italy and after a few days of cold grey and rainy weather this is how the horizon presented itself to me. A mass of blue that more or less gives a hint to what infinity is all about.I know I wrote a long list yesterday of my...

A little fog and green trees.

Walking my dog in the fall when brown leafs are falling on the ground. Walking to the infinity in an unknown forest/park. Breathing fresh air and feeling the calmness of the nature. I love life.

Nowadays, I find myself lured by the sea.

Whenever I'm at the beach, I'd sit on the sand and close my eyes. All I can smell is the salt in the air, and all I can hear are the waves as they kiss the shore. I can imagine myself in a place far away. I like to think that, some place across the waters, there is someone...

I am such a major nature junkie.

Hiking and spending time at the beach are my absolute favorite things in the world to do. There is a certain peace that overwhelms you when you spend time in nature away from all the smart phones and hectic chaos that has become our daily modern lives. It's in those moments that...

I have stood where the trees bellow their tune

Under the night of a lightless moon The ground below my pale bare feet Was dark, damp, and rich with peat. I have ventured below a sky so grim Where the vines drape and catch your limb, Guarding the path to dwell within Tangling, snaring those with merit so thin. I have dug...

I recently spent four days in an Italian Sea

resort and I woke up every morning in time to watch the sun emerge from the sea. I jogged during the birth of the sun but on one morning, I just stood there , and wore my earphones listening to Ennio Morricones' "Gabriels Oboe" from the film "The Mission". I was so in peace and...

Hiked up a mountain trail over the weekend

and found some very beautiful pools of water and falls. It was very peaceful. I felt so at home, and although there was not another person for miles. I didn't feel alone. But embraced.

If I am in a melancholy mood I'll take Agnes out

and open the back gate and give her her head. She knows where she wants to go. Across the meadow and through that patch of woods and down to the creek. Quite, peaceful, beautiful. Just my thoughts and the sounds of nature that I love so much.
