I Can Roll My Tounge

I sure can...never thought it was a big deal 'till I found out that some people can't.Oh right.  I still don't think it's a big deal LOL!

It's hard to imagine not being able to roll one's tongue since it's so easy for me. I can also double knot a cherry stem....no kidding!! It is true that the tongue is the strongest muscle in the body. I must be hercules!! LOL

I remember when I was young my dad showed me he could roll his tongue and whistle through it. After a day of trying and failing I finally got it. I like the way it feels. Kind of gives the good ol' muschle a nice stretch.

Yes it has been proved that it is a mixture of both.  Studies in twins show it is both genetics and environment.  Wonder which one mine is?

I dont know if I do it quite as well as the guy in this picture but I can certaintly do it. haha

I can roll my tongue and my son has that talent coupled with being able to touch his chin with his tongue. Creepy right now but later in life, he's going to make some woman *extremely* happy!

...i can roll my tounge pretty easy. im working on getting it to do the wave thing. its so cool, but so hard. but im getting better :)

I can roll my tongue into a "3-leafed clover" and it seems like a useless talent, but my boyfriend would argue with that statement. ;-)

And cute to show to kids that I can roll my tongue, because they try to do the same and some can not. The ones who can do it get so happy about it and it is wonderful to see their smile.

I remember sitting in a science class and the teacher asking who could roll their tongue. The class was about genes and chromosomes and how they make you have different abilities than others so there was a sensible reason for the tongue...

I can't do it elaborately like some people can, but yes, I can definitely roll my tongue. It's kind of strange that some people can't roll it when the tongue is so flexible. Hmm...not much else to add here.

I saw this group, and all I can say is I am glad to be here lol! I even taught my children how to roll their tongue, they thought I was weird when they saw me do this! I have been rolling my tongue since I was a little girl,and thought...
