My record, while conducting a sleep experiment

on myself, only aided by caffeine, and no consuming of sugar, is 86 hours. It was a total blast, and I would recommend it for anyone to try out, you learn so much about yourself when you test your limits, and you get the coolest drug free rush there is. If anybody wants pointers...

Sometimes i have to at work but it's not a lot of fun towards the end and i end up thinking of being horizontal in a warm bed with a thick duvet and lots of pillows.

    Oh Yes...

I can stay up for more than 24 hours straight. I love pulling an all nighter. I use to do it a LOT when I first Joined Ep. I would go to school in the morning, come home, do homework, cook dinner, spend some time with family, and than when everyone would go to bed, I would go on...

"i Can Stay Awake More Than 24 Hrs Straight"

Sometimes I find it so easy to stay awake more than 24 Hrs straight. I've done it countless times, but after it, I know I'll get a really good sleep. I'll just sleep 'til I wake. Sometimes I just do it over again and again. That's the advantage of working for oneself as I do not...

I sometimes stay up for months at a time,

admittedly it takes it's toll but the longer I stay awake the better I feel. Not exactly sure how that works.....

    Stretching My Endurance

When I have too much to do and not enough time, sleep is the easiest part of my day to remove to create more available time. I don't usually plan to do this in advance, it's just how it works out. Sometimes it's due to poor planning, though mostly it's due to unexpected...

    38 Successful Hours

Yes, I did it again. First time while I was recovering from the flu. It was very hard this time since I was tired the entire day from 2 hours after I woke in the morning. So I've been tired for 24 hours. Exhausted for 9 of those. At the 26 hour mark, I was no longer tired as I...

My record of staying awake is 42 hours straight.

I don't even think i went to bed because I was tired, I think to remember it was because I got bored.. But I like being awake at night time - it is so quiet and no one disturbs you.

    Nightmares

Over the summer I started to get really sick feeling. I'd go to sleep and have this reoccuring nightmare. I'd never remember it once I woke up but I'd stay up about 3-5 days straight trying to avoid it. I hated not sleeping but I knew if I slept the same fate would be waiting for...

I stayed up for 48 hours straight.

The first 24 was because a new war game came that my friend and I enjoy. The next day he, his girlfriend and me and my girlfriend were going on a week long back packing trip that was 600 miles away and I can't sleep in a car so I stayed awake the whole time. That night I was out...

    Done It Many Times

I used to work 2 jobs and so I had a pretty chaotic schedule- lots of overtime, lots of times where I would be scheduled a double shift at one job, then have to turn right around after that and do a shift at the second job. It actually didn't affect me until about a year later...

    As Of This Writing...

...it is yet another 24+ hour day.   The days I stay up longer than the full rotation of the earth actually outnumber the days I get 'normal' sleep cycles.   This has gone on for many years, as far back as my childhood, so any reasons for it, logical or...

    Semi-regularly ..

.. I tend to overbook my life. I'll be getting home thinking, "Sleep!" Only to be reminded I'm supposed to be somewhere else. I dont think I've gone a week this year without staying up at least a whole day. I'm supposed to go to work in two hours. I wont get any sleep...

This week I've got 2 huge applications

that I need to have in near completed states by Friday. I also have a weeks worth of coursework to do in the same time frame. Today I picked up six 5-hour-energy drinks, and from now to Friday, I'm going to do everything I possibly can to get this stuff done on time. I don't...
