I Can't Stop Crying Forum & Chat Board | too many chnges

My 23 yr old son is leaving home.  My intellectual self knows this is natural & healthy for him.  But I've been crying all day, trying to stay away from him so he doesnt see my distress.  It's not so much that he is leaving, as what the leaving symbolizes or represents.  It has so many triggers for me that I havent been able to "get a grip" for the past 24 hrs.  I can't  let him see how I feel because it would shake his confidence over such a milestone move, and I dont want him to feel guilty about the decision.  Any words of encouragement or support might help.
