I Can't Understand Why People Like Guns

I don't believe in abolishing the right to bear arms or denying anyone the right to use deadly force if the danger is immediate.  However, as far as just collecting guns, hunting, taking your kids out for "target practice"...

on a basic level. People like power, and guns offer that. They grant the user dominance over his or her victims. Personally I don't think that there is any honor in gunning someone down, but i suppose whatever floats your boat.
