OK - is the Amanda Todd story fake? Let's ask some questions:
If she was so frightened of online stalkers, why did she go back on to YouTube with her 'never-ending story' and a cover of a Pruitt song?
If she is actually dead, why it is impossible to find any evidence of a funeral - a huge memorial service broadcast live, hundreds of photos from her life, but not one name of a church, a pastor, the service - nothing?
In the video, she says it was one photo that she was tricked into. But huge amounts of evidence show she was online a lot, showing various levels of nudity. Why didn't she say 'I was on BlogTV almost nonstop'?
If a stalker contacted all her friends, all her family, and was supposedly repeatedly in touch with her to blackmail, why did the police never catch anyone? The online trail would have been a mile wide.
The stalker story climaxed in December 2010 - so why was she still online the next year if it was so traumatic?
Why would police call at 4am? Wouldn't they just knock on the door at a more convenient time?
At the end of the video, there's cutting - but you can find no evidence of marks on her arms in any photos.
Why is there no evidence of the bullying at school? No people have been named - we don't even have the name of the school.
If she moved cities, as claimed, why is the only move she made from her father's house in Maple Ridge to her mother's house 15 miles away in Port Coquitlam, and why does mother say she spent all her time in Port Coquitlam?
Why is there only one move of school - from Maple Ridge Secondary to CABE, a school specialising in special needs?
It's really been faked by the media. Amanda Todd existed, but none of these things occurred. She got into a lot of trouble, and my guess is that she's actually in a mental hospital - Surrey Memorial Hospital to be precise.

 

I think you have entirely too much time on your hand philip...what interest is this of yours anyhow...if the media faked a story like this and were caught there would be massive consequences...your evidence is not evidence it is ...lack of true investigative skilss ..you arent a detective stop tryi g to be one

 

I have spent a lot of time on this case, and done a lot of detective work, and I have reached the conclusion that it is almost entirely faked. The central core of the myth - that there was one photo spread around - has been completely destroyed by the evidence supplied from BlogTV, cameracaptures, and from the Capper Awards. If you research all of her online identities - from mandy_kinz onwards - it is relatively easy to trace what happened over the period of time from 2008 onwards. Once this core became known as a lie, the rest of the story crumbles.
Regarding other aspects of the story, there is a lot of evidence to enable a dismantling of the story piece by piece. For instance, cutting is referred to and even shown, but not only is there no evidence of cutting to be seen (simply look at every picture - cutters tend not to wear short sleeves so often), but her own mother, in a published article, says she was prevented from cutting.
And moving cities? In every one of her online registrations since 2008, she says she is from Port Coquitlam. Her own mother says she spent most of her life in Port Coquitlam. The only traceable move in 4 years is from a place called Maple Ridge, where she lived with her father, back to living with mother in PoCo - a massive 15 miles away! And she only moved school once in that time - from Maple Ridge to CABE.
So basically the whole story is flawed. The evidence is out there in abundance.
