I Care About Homeless People

I will never look down on anyone

unless I am helping them up!!! You never know maybe all that person needed was one act of kindness to help them along. You never know their story even if they are holding a bottle in their hand. Homeless people are still people with feelings.

My father was homeless in London.

tells me stories of how the dead would lie on the floor and people would just step over them, not noticing, not caring. who carries their cold hungry dead bodies away? what happens to them? who is told of their death? Ever since I found out my father was homeless it gave me a...

It's just wrong for the homeless to be picked

up against their will and given a choice to go to jail or the FEMA camps that the city built. This started in Columbia South Carolina. They made homelessness illegal. They are picked up and given a choice to go to jail or or the FEMA camps. If they go to FEMA they are guarded at...

There are a lot of homeless people down my

block. I always wonder where they go when it is winter. But since it's summer, I see them a lot sitting under scaffolds. Most of the time I don't have much to give. I gave a guy $5 on the train, another one 50ยข and a lady who came to the U.S. $3. I feel bad and want to do more...

I was in New York once

and a homeless man came up to me to ask if I would donate any money to him. You could see that he was a little shy because of the rejection he must have had before and was worried I would be the same. My three friends all told him no and walked away, I gave him whatever I had in...

    The Homeless People Have Souls.

    That's how it happens.

Some version of that story is true for almost every homeless person out there. It happens because of not being loved. Because of not having supportive reciprocal loving family relations from the beginning. It is never mental illness, and rarely addiction. It is lack of love...

A lot of people end up sleeping rough.

I'm not into being judgmental about this . I think that every town should have a shelter were people can go for a night or to. In these places they can be safe and be given proper help . Some choose to live rough but many have no choice . So if you can support...

I often get asked for help by people
