    Facts About Sunrise And Sunset

Today is the Winter Solstice for 2012 in North America. It's the shortest day and the longest night.  But, it's not the earliest sunset or the latest sunrise.  The earliest sunset is in the first week of December and the latest sunrise is in the first week of January.
