    Even Though It Was a Long Time Ago!!!

    Snowmass Mountain in the Colorado Rockies

    when I was 17. We camped at about 11,000 feet, woke up before dawn, boiled water for oatmeal and coffee which was just hotter than warm then set out and reached the summit around dawn. Spectacular!! Climbing in the dark by flashlight was a bit nerve wracking.

    It Would Be Amazing.

    can you imagine? all you would worry about is you and this mountain. not of the bullshit that doesnt really matter would follow you there. and afterwards the acomplishment would be amazing, so self full filling.

    When I Was 10

    My Dad and I hiked a lot...the largest we climbed was Mt Whitney....14,495 ft.  It was an amazing experience.   Lots of fun memories. We did the day hike from base camp up to the summet....we stayed too long and realizing we couldnt traverse all the switchbacks...
