I Cry Too Easily

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 200 People

    I'm a very sensitive person,

so when something sad/bad happens, or i think about something bad happening i cant control my tears. In school and public places i don't cry, but when i'm alone its like a flood. I don't know how to stop myself.. it's just really hard.

I'm not the most emotional person ever.

I don't cry a lot for certain things but on certain days or certain times I end up crying for dumb ****. For example, I was at the store with my mom and she always tells me she's gonna be fast. Then we spend over an hour at the store and I get really annoyed cause I wanna leave...

    In class we watched Cyberbully

and I cried sooo much. I was the only with a box of tissues on their desk, screaming "TAYLOR NOO!! LINDSAY U! WHAT A HORRIBLE FRIEND! GUYS SUCK!" And crying. My friends were telling me to calm down and I was just blowing my nose and cleaning my tears.

It seriously takes nothing to make me cry.

Frustrated? Cry. Trying to explain why I'm upset? Cry. Animal dies in a movie? Crying. Seriously the only times I don't cry are when I'm physically hurt and that's not even true 100% of the time. I'm just an incredibly emotional person. This gets seriously annoying because a lot...

I Wish I Could Clearly Convey What I'm Thinking Without Breaking Into Tears...

For example tonight I was talking to my boyfriend, I was completely fine until we started talking about something serious. It was not even that upsetting but what do I do? I start crying, not very badly, that is until he noticed that I was crying. At that point he started...

I am very intelligent. I am a thinker. I feel things very deeply. I would say that I feel things deeper than most. I am constantly analyzing and overanalyzing things, relationships, situations, etc. When I think about relationship issues, I cry. When I talk about ANYTHING...

    I always cry in movies

and when I read books or watch some Facebook videos...my ex told me I was too emotional or over-sensitive...my 17yr old son thinks it's funny that my tears well up a lot, especially when I'm watching something sad... is it a good thing? Should I try to 'get over it'? 😭

    Whether sad, happy, angry,

or very much touched with a gesture, I am the type of person who cries easily. Crying makes me feel better. I cry when I am sad and missing my dad. I cry when I am very happy, or the so-called "tears of happiness". When I am angry, I also cry after an outburst. Crying when angry...

I Would Like To Be Able To Talk Over Things...

Whenever my boyfriend and I have an argument I start crying. I really try not to because it annoys him because he feels I should be more of an adult in the situation and be able to talk without whimpering...I would like to be able to but all my feelings just well up and then the...
