I 'd Love to Have My Own Cafe

This experience reminds me of a dream I used to

have when I was a bit younger. I wanted a cafe/bookshop/reading room type establishment, piles of all sorts of books, maybe an open fire in winter, where people could stay and browse/read/eat and drink for hours and feel perfectly comfortable. I understand now that...

Welcome to the house of toast Honestly,

I'd prolly put more effort into the jukebox than any beverages or accoutrements. If you are not fond of the music...good-depart and be on your merry way to the chain shop down the block,I'm certain they can accommodate your sensitivities. This one is all killer,no filler,including...

    When I retire or something,

I I'd LOVE to have my own cafe. Well, actually I think it would be more of a bookstore, and, in the middle of the store, have a cafe area to chill and read a book you just bought. And I wouldn't get mad at anyone who just sat down with one of the books without buying it and read...

It would have a stage with bands playing some

nights, jazz, blues, or whatever. And I'd be happy attending people and making coffee with love :)

A recurring fantasy over the years.

But then I think of the hours and the ******** I'd have to put up with and I stash that fantasy away for a few more years.

Le Jazz Le Cafe D' Lemonade.

I don't know french good, but having a cafe would be awesome. I'd live there 24 hours a day, it would have luscious red rag rugs and velvet hangings with curly designs and wispy gold/silver love hearts and things sewn into them. As soon as you walked in you'd think...

    I've been thinking about it

for awhile. I live in a military town where there isn't much to do. No night clubs, just bars old people go to. A lot of the Sailors here smoke hookah and love food. I was thinking to have have a cafe with drinks, desserts, and allow it to be a hookah bar. During the day it can...

I've always dreamed of owning a cafe.

A little coffee shop, maybe with a used book store. I have no idea why, maybe because this is the type of place I would frequent if I knew of one close by. It would be quaint, with regulars, like a mom and pop type store.

    It would be old-Viennese style,

with marble-topped tables, gilded mirrors and potted plants. Waiters would wear a black tie and a violin quartet would play in the background. There would be a coffee-and-pastry happy hour at 11 and at 2, to encourage people to get away from the office and learn to enjoy the...

    The I Could...

Have them use my own recipes. Ones that I've made up and nobody wants to try. i reckon it'd be fun, instead of fish 'n' chips, you get fish 'n' rice - a healthy alternative!! This could work!!!

Always had a dream of having a small shop

somewhere that was a cafe during the morning and day, and a bar at night.. not a huge fan of coffee myself (more of a tea-drinker to be honest) but I love the smell and I've made plenty of it for friends and family. Hopefully one day I'll get enough money and business know-how...

I think that when I retire,

after I have amassed enough money I would like to move to a South American beach and open a cafe/gift shop that over looks the water. Maybe add a few rooms for bed and breakfast. I think that would make me happiest when I'm done struggling to live.

My mother, who taught me to cook from the age

of 4, always said I should run a restaurant or a cafe. I have never done so but do enjoy cooking. However 2 weeks ago I was cooking for 14 over a weekend and found it so exhausting I realise that now i will never do it!

I wish to open up the doors of a new cafe in Salem, Oregon. I've always wanted to create something for all to enjoy, and a cafe in my mind is perfect for that. With a calm and mellow atmosphere as well as a small bookstore for all the writer's that are making their start; I hope...
