I want it and I want it now.

A week ago tonight I had the best time of my life with my girlfriend at my prom. No, we didn't have sex, but it was the 2nd time in person that I saw her (the first was a little under 2 months ago), and we had been fighting about stupid stuff the week earlier. I had a little...

I would especially like it at night.

For instance, last night I woke up at 2:50am only to not be able to go to sleep because my mind went into nearly-full functioning mode. Thankfully I have today off.

When lying in bed at night,

I can't help recalling everything I did that I'm not proud of. What I could've done differently, what I should have said. More often than not I end up crying and only manage to fall asleep around 4 or 5am. It was fine during the holidays, but now that college is back in session...

Its a lie. I'm ugly. No one cares.

That kid I kissed at recess, in second grade - I wonder where he is, now? Does he remember that? I bet he regrets it. Did I shut the coffee pot off? Mauve is a weird word. I bet he doesn't actually like me - he'd turn away if we actually met. People never stay. There's eighty...

I can't stop thinking about you.

I still miss you. I still cry myself to sleep sometimes. Every time I think about you, I can't seem to control the tears from falling. I wish I didn't do all of these things. I wish I could erase the memories. Just turn it all off. That's the only way I think I'll ever be able...

I am you. It's amazing how easily we can focus

on the negative and stay there wallowing in the memory of mistakes we've made, but cannot use those same abilities to focus on all the good and positive things we've accomplished. Living "in the moment" is a concept I cannot wrap my mind around. I'm either moaning about the past...
