I Definitely Chose the Wrong Career

I'm a senior in high school

and I will be going to Pharmacy school in the fall. I hate pharmacy. I want to go to law school. However law is a risky field, and pharmacy guarantees a job (my future school has 100%placement rate) with a $100,000+ starting salary. I've grown up in a low income family in a...

I should have gone to art school when I was younger and studied it for 3 years at least. Even so, I am attracted to doing different forms of visual art including sculpture and print making. Oh well, I have started going to classes now and then.

I Wish I Had Not Done Engineering

I went to school for Engineering and BIG mistake. I hope this story prevents other people from making the same mistake. You can spot an Engineer usually, by the way they talk, what they are interested in and the things they do as hobbies. I am NOT that person. Coming up with a...

I hate that we have all made the same mistake,

but I am thrilled to know that I am not alone! I absolutely hate the classes for my Computer Engineering major. I enjoy (usually) the labs - actually working with my hands, ya know. But these classes are unbearable!! I wish I had done something more philosophical... I think that...

    In Science :(

There I was, choosing my A levels. After much chopping and changing in the first year, I ended up doing English language, Biology and, very reluctantly, chemistry. Why chemistry? Because I'd decided I wanted to be a scientist and needed it to do that. But I also...

    Why Did I Do This?

Well once I was in a job that I really liked. And then I dont know why I got bored of it and quit. And then I went into this career that really sucks. Mergers and Acquisitions. Thats such a boring job. It pays well but why does it have to be that. I am really tired. So, I went...

I Chose A Really Crappy Career

I am new to this community and I found this page when I was googling "I studied the wrong career", to see if there are other people who feel miserable as me. I always wanted to be a Veterinarian when I was little, that is what influenced me to study biology in college...

    Well... I didn't choose a career,

mostly just a variety of jobs since I moved a lot due to my husband's career. I found that, for me, it is usually the people, not the job. Once of my favorite jobs was working the midnight shift as a waitress at a 24 hour diner. I loved my two co-workers. We backed-up each...

I wanted to write, be a writer

but sadly I chose the wrong career. Not a day in my life when I wake up every morning feeling so miserable that sometimes I have a tendency to say stuff that sometimes questions my sanity. Better out than in. It has been 2.5 years (more or less) I wish I had not done engineering...

Chose The Wrong School, Got Labelled For The Rest Of My Career.

When I was 20, I decided to change career path, and went from a 3 years degree in History to Art School. I had a marvelous internship in a renown video game company and I was dazzled. I asked my mentor what school he did, and I applied for the same. The industry of video game is...

    Bullsh*t, it's all based on bullsh*t...
