Grew to hate how attached I became to it,

I'm Hoping It Stays That Way

I don't need fake friends, or have my exes "check up on me" if its over, then let it go and don't have your new gf check my page either.  I want to be freed from that social construct, it was nice while it lasted, but I have to move on, and twitter is facebook with ADHD...

I deleted mine because of the new snoop policies

that was coming Jan 1 Privacy still means something to some of us. And I refuse to keep it and use Tor because I will not deal with a company that has those morals. Don't know what they were? Google it and you will be even more glad you are off it :)

    Ok, I didn't delete it.

But I want to go for a month without Facebook and then maybe I'll delete it. Checking facebook has become such a waste of my time. I'm 31, not 12. Even though it was technically started during my generation, and it was fun at one point when I was in college...it has become...

I never thought I would ever delete it.

The only reason I had Facebook was to stay connected to my friends and family. Slowly, it started to turn into drama all the time people would post irrelevant videos and topics. That didn't really bother me at all. I started adding more family members to be connected with the...

    Bye Bye "friends"

So, maybe not everyone has the same issues that I do with comparing themselves to to others. It's not that I am necessarily jealous at the things I see, but it causes me to judge others more than I normally would and definitly more than I should. Constantly knowing...

    Completely Unnecessary

Facebook only brought me disappointment, failing grades, and an illusion of this so called "friendship." Admit it. We have all felt the gratifying surge of joy whenever someone added us, liked our profile pic, or sent a Facebook message. I look back and realize how strange that a...

I hate this site. I really wish I never joined in the first place; now I cannot decide whether I want to permanently delete my account for good or keep my account. FB is useless to me - all I've been doing for the past 2 years is hiding everyone on my 'friends' list from my news...
