    Money = ???

Money isn't everything to me--maybe it's because it's never been scarce and never been the center of my happiness.  I'm rich in health (most of the time) and rich in lessons learned.  Rich in friends and life, rich in love and integrity, dignity, compassion, sympathy...

what is so good about being rich?

Yeah you can buy everything you want and desire. Where's the fun in that ? I rather be poor, down on my arse with nothing and have the love of my life and her boys. Money cannot buy love and happiness. Money me and absolutely nothing to me. It comes and goes. love and memories...

Money for most is the ruler of the earth,

some people would even kill for money. But money cant secure you happiness. Sure it may get you a new house, fancy cars and clothes and you may enjoy these things for a long time, but eventually it will become apparent that it isnt always true happiness and even people who are...

But I do wanna be rich!

! Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a lot of things I want. However, I would be completely fine without. As long as I'm not poor. You get the idea. If I'm rich, super! If not... Thats okay. Anyway, my joy comes from the Lord! ^

    Money cannot buy happiness,

I know this has been said a million times but that's just because it's the truth. Yes we need money to supply us with our basic needs, however in terms of happiness it's all on you and how you view things. Remember no matter how bad you have it somewhere someone is facing...

    Money Cant Buy Everything

Being rich does not necessarily mean happiness in life. There many many rich people who are rich and so unhappy. Others are poor yet they have a happpy family. Richness can buy materials things but can but happiness, good values, love etc. I happpened to live with a family which...

I used to think that I needed to be rich to be

happy but now I don't. The reason for that is that I previously worked for a company where everyone was poor and yet they were all friendly. Some people had a lot of money, but only a small few.

    Not That It Hurts

Money is great. It gives people the means to accomplish their goals, feed themselves, support their families, and has a multitude of other uses. However, the presence of money in life doesn't automatically equate happiness. Sure, it makes things easier, but money alone cannot...

It's strange... I have never wanted to be rich

for myself. I've always wanted to have A LOT of money, but only so I could give the majority of it to the charities and causes that I care about the most. I would be absolutely content with a small house, enough for me and my dog and the rest of my family. And enough to pay off...

I also don't believe in sloth.

Money should not be the pivot of my life. I hold onto certain values and they are never on sale. Money doesn't buy happiness. Hard earned money does provide shelter, food, cozy home for our family. Having lots of money should never be the goal of anyone's life. Sitting...

Most Martinicans are poor by Western standards.

You get used to having a limited income, my father says. Yes he's made it possible for me to travel in Europe by selling a piece of land he inherited from his mother.

    Not At All

I could be happy with my girl, my pets, and my health. No money needed. I could live in a mud hut with my loved ones and be the happiest person on earth. I think too many people get caught up in the traditional materialistic sense of "success" and they miss out on what...

My parents have been divorced ever

since I was too young to remember, my mom was always the poor one and my dad the rich one. I was always so much happier when I was at my mom, then when I was at my dads. My mom's house has always felt like more of a home than my dads, no matter how much money he has.

I don't have big dreams like most people.

I don't want a job simply for the sake of earning money like most people. I just want something simple and peaceful. Something I'll enjoy and make lots of memories doing. Perhaps one day I'll open my own small business. I'm not sure what kind, but it'll be something I greatly...

    of course I don't! "money doesn't buy

happiness" is the old cliche but it holds a lot of truth...money can seemingly make your life easier...bit make you lose focus of the truly important aspects such as friends and self discovery....I'd rather be a poor chap in the woods with a million squirrel friends than a man...

There's nothing wrong with being rich.  I've always thought it would be fun to have money to spare.Having said that, I don't need scads of money to be happy.Right now I'm on a fixed income.  It's not a large amount, but it keeps a roof over my head and food in my mouth.  It...

    This holds true for me

because many times I'm happy JUST the way I am!! I tell MANY people that as long as the wealth I have doesn't change the way I am, I'll be COMPLETELY satisfied! I find you need to have people to be happy though!

The less I own the happier I am.

I don't spend all of my time working to pay off bills for things I don't need. Keep it simple and breathe easy.

I don't need to be rich to be happy.

Everyone is responsible for their own happiness. Being rich is different for each person. So I should say money doesn't make a person happy.

What ever happened to the simple life,

I just want someone who just like to sit and cuddle without having to go out and spend money. Everyone who I talk to or see who has ton of money is miserable. I would rather be poor and happy if you ask me.
