Is There Any Point to Cliques?

I've never seen the point to belonging to cliques.  In Sixth Form (the last time that it ever mattered) I was the person who spoke to everyone, was friendly to all.  In my opinion, life's too short to be horrible to people and a lot of the problems that I've experienced...

    Everyone Is Doing It!

I think Myspace is one big giant clique. I like to against the grain, is everyone else is doing it, then count me out. Myspace is one of them. I am not gonna do what all of my friends, boyfriend or family is doing, and that is myspace. I cannot stand myspace that's why i come on...

    Was Never In One

i honestly didn't fit into any clique in any school. in elementary school i always was alone. i ate lunch by myself in the back of the room everyday, every recess i would walk alone desperate to just be with anyone. i never belonged anywhere there even though it was a small...

    I'm Just An Onlooker.

i used to always rebel and say i hated anything other girls in groups liked. oh sure i'd socialise with them, i'm actually great at talking and listening but i mostly look, watch how they act and react to certain things. they may all act the same like any clique but they sure do...

Fitting This Square Peg In The Round Hole

Throughout my middle and high school years, I stood on the outskirts. I observed these cliques sometimes in solitude or with one of my friends. I didn't hate them. I've had good relations growing up with these people. Although, I could never fit with them. A few times, I wandered...

    I've just started school

and there is already a 'Popular' clique formed at the orientation. I never joined the clique since my friends and I don't really need to be in one or don't care as we already get along pretty well in Day One. This 'Popular' clique is like a wolf pack. 1 leader and many...

    In High School

I was not part of any groups. I got along with everyone, but there wasn't one particular group of people that I hung out with. The downside of this is that I didn't really go out and do anything. at all. ever. I played a lot of Starcraft though. And read a lot. And met the...

    NEVER!

I can't stand cliques... it's too suffocating! And that's when I run away! XD I think that friendships are not cliques... just friendships. To me, a clique is a group of people who must think the same, act the same, and there is a ritual of who gets to join it or not. Erm...

    A Floater

When I was in high school, there was a lot of cliques too.  I was always the loner, trying to fit in, so I floated.  I eventually got to know a few of the kids from each crowd, and then somehow we joined forces and floated together.  It's kind of strange how it...
