    I used to, but mostly

because I had to. Now that I carry a cellphone that can display the time, there's no more need. I still own a couple of nice watches that I don’t wear at all anymore. I’m kind of glad I don’t have to wear watches anymore. I don’t much like chains or rings either. I...

At work, my day is dictated by timings.

Everything has a schedule, so when I am away from work, time can just roll along at any pace it wants. I tend to judge these times form whether it is light outside, and whether I feel hungry.

I don't like watches; I can keep the time with

my phone, but I find watches really uncomfortable and noisy, especially when you're using a laptop, so I stopped wearing them.

I used to, when I worked in the corporate world.

I have 18 of them....lol....yes 18, all with dead batteries. I was into matching them with my outfits. Now, I could care less about the time. I'm trying to enjoy life not count down the minutes. :-)

    I stopped constantly wearing watches

since I lost one of my first ones. Technically I didn't lose it cause I know exactly where it is. It is in the United States, michigan, south manitou island, beach near light house, in the sand next to a small log. If found please return.

    Why?

Everything is on my phone now. I can't go from one room to the other without my phone. So why would I bother with a watch? They're hot and bothersome and leave a mark on my arm when I've been in the sun. This is a curious group, but I posted anyway.

    An Inherited Oddity

I don't wear watches for the same reason my mother doesn't: I break them.  No, it isn't that I am particularly rough on them, or that I am careless.  They just stop working.Well, perhaps that isn't entirely accurate.  I should say that electronic watches stop working, while...

I don't like to wear watches

Ever since I reached puberty I have been unable

to wear a wrist watch. I have tried to wear them, even dreamed of owning a classic design. But it is all for nothing. I generate far to much static electricity & all my watches gradually slow down.

    watches are so outdated.

They are constrictive and have to be taken off all of the time to shower and go to bed, as I would never wear it in bed. All I do is look at my cell phone for the time and date. I carry it all the time anyhow and it does the same functions as a watch and many more things that...
