I Do Not Wear a Watch

    I used to, but mostly

because I had to. Now that I carry a cellphone that can display the time, there's no more need. I still own a couple of nice watches that I don’t wear at all anymore. I’m kind of glad I don’t have to wear watches anymore. I don’t much like chains or rings either. I...

Perhaps something that can be chalked up to

mild OCD but I find if i wear one i spend every few minutes looking at it, especially in a lecture. Additionally, I have my phone for the time so it seems unnecessary.

    I Stopped Wearing A Watch In 1979

Life has been so much better without it. People continue to give me watches as gifts...I act like I am happy to receive them (it's the thought that counts after all!!), and I do appreciate their thinking of me...BUT I regift later to someone who will actually USE it. Last fall...

    Hm, that lasted long.

.. With computers in our pockets, who'd ever have a need for watch? And now we've got Smart Watches. Except in some ways, they're dumber and less useful than the digital watches we wore in the 80's. I wonder if humans were somehow meant to wear a watch; is there a better form...

    I stopped constantly wearing watches

since I lost one of my first ones. Technically I didn't lose it cause I know exactly where it is. It is in the United States, michigan, south manitou island, beach near light house, in the sand next to a small log. If found please return.

    I Just Don'T Get It!

How can over seven thousand people think that this is an interesting enough topic to write a story about? I mean, what other things do you not value in the least. But think it's worth telling the rest of us about none the less? *awaited with entirely un-bated breath*

I Have Tried But to No Avail

I have tried repeatedly over the years to find a watch that would work with me.  Every watch I have ever owned regardless of the type, they end up not working.  Some last about a month others just days.  I have been told it is the way my body is wired.  I have...

    An Inherited Oddity

I don't wear watches for the same reason my mother doesn't: I break them.  No, it isn't that I am particularly rough on them, or that I am careless.  They just stop working.Well, perhaps that isn't entirely accurate.  I should say that electronic watches stop working, while...

    It's Always Now O'clock...

I am always where I need to be at any given time. Don't need no watch to make that happen... Frankly; it's always felt unnatural, and an irritance - like a bottle ring 'round a seagulls' neck. No - I've tried, and yet to wear a watch just outright bothers me. Never really needed...

    watches are so outdated.

They are constrictive and have to be taken off all of the time to shower and go to bed, as I would never wear it in bed. All I do is look at my cell phone for the time and date. I carry it all the time anyhow and it does the same functions as a watch and many more things that...

At work, my day is dictated by timings.

Everything has a schedule, so when I am away from work, time can just roll along at any pace it wants. I tend to judge these times form whether it is light outside, and whether I feel hungry.
