I Don't Believe In Long Distance Relationships

    I just wouldn't like it.

If I'm in a relationship with someone I like to be with that person and see them and have not only that emotional connection, but that physical connection which can't be achieved through a long distance relationship, at least not regularly

    I can never meet them

and get to know them well. I hate when I talk to a girl who's single and she says she wants to get to know me and she is interested in me. But she doesn't keep a conversation with me and when I try to to talk her again she doesn't respond and chances I see that she's found...

Long distant relationships don't work there are

other people that you might fall for you need someone to be there with you to hug you, love you, if your not there with them you'll drift apart and there's nothing you can do to stop it. It's always good to have someone there with you

    eventually you will grow apart.

you just need that regular communication and need to be physically present or you will not make each other a priority

Everybody always throws trust on it!

I'm here to tell you, it is not always directly about trust! Sometimes it's about logic and logically speaking long distance and relationship don't fit in the same premises. Logically one can expect for problems to occur

I was in two long distance relationships

and both went sour. With the first guy I was with him for 7yrs. It started off as a long distance relationship then I moved closer to him for the last two years of our relationship but it didn't work out.

I still can feel the pain in my heart from this

afternoon's conversation with my hubby. No matter how reasoned out with me, no matter how rational they might sound I still can't shake off the feeling that it was something else and he's up to no good over there in another country. It's gonna be 3 years since he left for work...

    I've never been in one

so it doesn't appeal to me. My friend introduced me to a guy that is intrested in me but he lives in Ohio and I live in Arizona. We texted each other but not much and not since Wednesday. I'm still going to get to know him but I'll have to be honest with him.

    Things Have Changed

Fine, long distance can work of you got separated for whatever reason. Or if you live like an hour or two away from each other. That's alright, because at least there's a foundation on which a relationship was founded. But no relationship can be forged off nothing but pictures...

    Time difference sucks!

You have to stay all night waiting for notifications to show up with his name in it either with skype or viber. Unnecessary stress especially when you aren't so sure where the relationship goes. But I think I was so stupid to believe this kind of relationship works!!!!!!!

It's not that I don't want to believe.

It's just... it's so much harder on the heart to know you're thousands of miles away and every night you count the stars before I do but you're counting alone. How my heart aches when I look up at the moon and know you see the same one but that connection is so faint. It hurts...

I don't believe in LDRs. I don't believe they never work out, time-wise, but I just believe they are not fulfilling enough for anyone to want to pursue them. My parents went into an LDR shortly after meeting at university. Now they have been married 20 years, of which about 10...
