I Don't Believe In Marriage

Working in a banquet hall one would think is

magical. But in reality, every wedding I arranged pushed me away from the thought of ever getting married. Now this is entirely separate from my parents not working out together and every other couple that I don't see working out... Ever.

I think marriage is something tough to embrace

I feel..that if you really love someone?

you don't need to get married to prove that. I find that kinda stupid? lol I will never get married. marriage doesint last? nor does relationships? some do. but that's rare. I think people get married because they're really in love at that moment and they decide I want to marry...

I Definitely Don't Believe In Marriage.

Over the years I have come to the conclusion that marriage is not a necessity and in some cases it makes things worse. People used to marry because their church told them that was the done thing. Nowadays people use marriage to settle themselves. They spend all this time wooing...

    I don't believe in marriage,

because I think that it takes away a lot of what made the bond a bond in the first place. If you're in accordance with the concept of marriage, please explain your opinion

Marriage Is Right For Some, But Not Me

As a young girl, I came to this realization.  All of my little friends would play wedding, and really think about their future husbands and families.  I could care less about these things, and was more interested in climbing trees, playing in the woods, and sports...

Marriage is not really a big thing to me

because... People who love each other will love each other regardless of if there was a bit of paper with ones last name the same, I think marriage is a big con that basically tricks people into spending ALOT of money for a little bit of paper to say your married

    Kinda Funny

I was at my mom's house with my boyfriend and I told her, "Marriage is so unnatural. It's ungodly. It's an abomination. Men and women shouldn't be together for such a long time." She didn't like that.

Was Never A Big Deal To Me.

As some girls, it seems almost a right of passage, to make out and fantasize the extrevagant weddings they shall have when they're older. Speaking of their dreamy man, and how they would love to be proposed too. To me, I never understood this inconsequential event that they so...

    Sharing My Views

I suppose I don't have an experience related to marriage, and only one long-term relationship that wouldn't be ready to progress to matrimony now even if I was looking for such a course. But feel bad discussing my views with my partner, when I know he doesn't agree with them and...

Respect for marriage has been tainted just like

most of the brides wearing white... Seems like today the value of marriage is literally a price tag. Instead of being importance of being wed in the eyes of the Lord, it's more like being wed in the shoes of Louis Vuitton. Would you still say yes if there was no diamond ring...

To me, marriage is TOO binding.

Honestly, how many people can actually be happy together forever? The answer is 50%. half of marriages end in divorce. I believe that being in an unmarried, open relationship is the best thing for anyone involved. "cheating" cannot happen in an open relationship. Nobody has to...

    I Use To

I truly use to believe in marriage. I wanted to be the person that would find the person to spend the rest of their life with.  To be able to share their dreams, and make their dreams my dreams too.  I wanted that more than anything. In college, I met this man, and I...

    Future Concerns

I mentioned this in my other post for this group, but I have concerns about in the future, when I and my boyfriend are out of college, and therefore more marriage-eligible, that it will start to be expected from our families. If we are still together at that time (I say that...
