I Don't Believe In War

Violence is not the Solution 134 People

    Peggy Regrets, Billy Gloats

Like many other Republicans, Peggy Noonan wonders why Obama went into Libya, apparently regretting (but not quite apologizing for) the GOP’s earlier sins along the same lines under Bush 43 that were cheered on by the newspaper that carries her column. http://online.wsj.com...

In regards to the latest shootings in Texas,

my prayers are with the victims family and friends. Unfortunately, PTSD has become a huge issue with veterans and active duty soldiers. Instead of increasing security measures on US bases, why don't we increase our compassion and love?!?!? "Violence begets...

It doesn't matter who owns the land,

you pay taxes anyways. I don't want to sound offensive, but why would anyone be OK with giving up their life just so the world can keep fighting? I don't see the point. I understand that you are fighting for us and I do respect that. But what of the other side? They fight for...

    There Is Nothing

There is nothing, no piece of land, that is worth the loss of life. The innocent are sent to the front whilst those that declare involvement are sat in front of their open fires whilst other parents children are murdered (and at the same time his eldest son is out partying and...

    Wake Up!!!!

I am not highly educated when it comes to History or Politics, but I have experienced many spiritual things. I think the only reason we go to such extreme measures for oil, and whatever other "resources" we need, is because we need a release of all of our negativity. I'm not...

The US is bombing Syria right now,

because if we just bomb the Middle East enough, maybe they'll start to like us.

    Honor? Try Murder.

If you live in the United States, and you take someone's life intentionally, it is murder. Excluding self-defense. And yet, if you join the military and kill hundreds, you are doing your duty as an American citizen. You are someone to be respected. For being the government's pawn...

    It never solves anything,

its an excuse for murder. Nothing positive comes out of it. Makes people grow angrier towards eachother.

    Who Does?

Goodness me! Who believes in war? Isaac Asimov wrote once a very good trilogy of "Foundation" and there was a character, Mr. Salvor Hardin who said: "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent!" I like it very much and it bacame also my personal doctrine.

War... Huh... Good God Y'all What Is It Good For?

I don't believe in war, and never have. I think its just an excuse for murder, rape and the perpetuation of a masculine identity which can't be sustained in a peaceful society. The more I learn about WWII the less I understand how we can be at war still. How can we be so stupid...
