    Well Not Often

I can drink quite a bit and used to drink at least twice a week- the drinking that would make you forget time and place often. However, I have cut it down a good bit- for a variety of reasons- health, attempt to improve wealth and a dislike of the day after.  I tend to be...

    Uh Huh

I prefer coke. I'm just special and unique like that. I also prefer the taste, being that sort of person of course. Anyway, I can get a straw with the coke, which you usually can't with a pint of whatever. Trying to pick up the ice cubs in the glass with the straw is endless...

    I Don't Know Why I Don't Drink Much

I just don't have any desire to drink alcohol.  I don't know why.  I remember a few years back, I bought a bottle of wine and I never even drank it.  My mother consumes a half a bottle of red wine a night, as does her sister.  I'm an only child, so I don't...

Occassional Outbreaks Of Drinking When "i Can't Take It Anymore!"

i am not a big drinker- but occasionally when I am in pain, emotionally or with neuralgia I do have one or two vodka pre-mixed pop-drinks (the bottled or canned 250ml type) or occasionally i will have a glass of wine or baileys, or a little port at xmas with minties on ice but...

Maybe "Often" Would Be a Better Word For Me

Because while it doesn't occur that frequently, I generally do drink too much when I do drink. So I while I don't drink that often, I do drink much in those not so often times. I don't really know what I'm saying... ya know?

Okay, New Year's Eve is a possible exception

or a very special occasion. Other than that , a very occasional cocktail such as a Blue Hawaiian or a Heineken.. I'll keep liquor in the fridge downstairs but it will last months. This is a far cry from my lifestyle when I was in my 20's

For a while I was completely anti-alcohol, predominantly because of all of the alcoholism in my family. I was scared that I could become so powerless like them. It took me a long time, but I finally realized that the reason someone drinks is just as important as how much they...

I don't drink alcohol much. This is because the women in my family has a rare thing... we can get drunk off the smallest amount of alcohol. Seriously. My mother can make it through one half of a light beer, then she's drunk. lol. As for me, I'm a little stronger than the rest. I...

It Just Doesn't Make Sense Anymore

I was never a big drinker anyway. Whereas my friends could seemingly drink themselves in a stupor, I came with a built-in device that prevented this. That infamous one-drink-too-many very rarely made it past my lips and saved me from, I'm sure, embarrassment and decidely worse...

    Never Really Have

Right now the main reason I don't drink is that I'm on psych meds.  Booze, serequil, and lithium are not a good mix!But even before I was on the medication I seldom drank.  I'd have one or two socially, or to relax after a rough day...but that was it.I'm goofy enough as it is...

Drinking is something I only do a couple of times a year, and only around people I trust. I think it's foolish to expect myself to abstain from drinking completely; after all, it can feel god sometimes! I am a firm believer in moderation, though, and I don't need to drink...

    I Really Don't

Maybe 3-4 glasses of wine a month, alone or with a meal. Possibly 1-2 beers a month, always with a meal and never with the wine. A cup of coffee after a really good dinner. For me it's usually water and iced tea. Cheap date! Even designated driver.
