I had one for three years

and then found out how to delete it. It doesn't simulate me. I got bored using it and got tired of reading people's diary-esque posts. I have no desire to go back unless I start a business or something. Imagine what happens when people ask me about FB and the looks I get for it...

    I still have a facebook

but I haven't been on like in about 6 months and even then it was to say thank you everyone for wishing me a happy birthday then I got off. I could delete or inactivate it but then I would have to go on facebook and I'm not doing that it's a waste of my time

    Never Felt The Need

I had a Facebook account for about 2 months are so, then deleted it. I didn't delete it because of some drama it created, nor because I felt it signaled the end of society, but because I just never really felt it added anything to my personal life. I'm the kind of person who...

    "Attention World!" - a Plea From a Non-facebooker

Hello, world. If you don't mind, I would like to make an announcement about something that you don't seem to understand: I am 17 years old and I don't have a facebook. No, that doesn't mean I'm confused or have any screws lose. It doesn't mean I'm an anti-social...

    Not Entirely True

I do have a "professional" account, as it's pretty much a requirement in my line of work. However, you'll find nothing truly personal there, and I adamantly refuse to create a personal account. Pretty much all my friends have Facebook accounts, but when they talk about it, it...

I refuse to get a facebook. I don't want the drama, I hear all my cousins gossiping about others and their facebooks. "I hear she said ___ to ___ on facebook" My mom doesn't know how to turn a computer on but she passes along the facebook drama on to others. Its so.... ugh, I don...

    No I don't. I don't have one.

Cos facebook is gay and is full of online drama and is just too childish and is for teens. They have a lot of drama here too bit its calmer and more relaxed and chilled but facebook is one of the worst for drama. I used to be on it in high school and deleted it after I left...

Pictures, personal references, all I could! I don't like how Facebook has changed.

I had it for years and got tired of it.

Mostly the privacy issues are what started pushing me. But then I sat back and wondered what I was really getting from it. And how little time I was really spending with friends. It's been almost a year and I don't miss it.

I had it and then suspended my account

for awhile. I reactivate my account and did reconnect with a couple of close friends, but ultimately felt that I really didn't care what others had to say, even my family members on there. I deleted my account about a year ago and don't miss it in the least.

    Facebook ends up being

so many people sharing links of silly photos, and groups people liked years ago suddenly flooding their "page" or "wall", or whatever it is with posts saying nothing important, and which obstructs them seeing what their friends have been doing (which is hopefully why they have...

I think Facebook has brought some of the worst

changes in human behaviour I've known. Don't get me wrong, Facebook was a great idea initially and it's still great for people who use it for valid reasons. But the concept has been over exploited by the majority of people that assume you should be on it. If your not, your not...

My mom and dad wouldn't let me have an account.

My friends tried to convince me to do it anyway and hide it from them. All they do is fight over stuff that gets posted. Plus they're always getting in trouble for stuff they do on Facebook. I think my mom and dad were right again! :)

It used to be ok for keeping on touch with

people. Now it's just targeted advertising, drama and updates about how nice a coffee was. Fine people want to use it but it I hate it when people look confused or damming at me when I say I don't have one anymore. what is that about?

I struggle with an eating disorder and depression, so Facebook was absolutely the worst place to be spending time. Every time I'd log in, I'd end up comparing myself with others...ie. who looked thinner, who had more 'friends,' which statuses got 'liked' the most, and so on. I...
