    I've Known a Few.

My ex wife turned into one. Her father was one, and her sister to a lessor extent. Yet her mother and brother kept the dream alive. The sad thing is they feel they can't succeed and don't want anyone else to. I suspect they have unresolved issues haunting them.

    Dream Squashers Beware!

I cannot stand dream squashers. I grew up with parents who instilled in me the notion that I was lazy and not going to grow up to be anything in life. I was an extremely good student and destined to go to a good school, but my parents weren't having it. I spent every day hearing...

We Can Do It - "Yes We Can"

My Ex was the poster child for Dream Squashers!  And no matter how hard I tried to fill up the cup of dreams with the sweet nector of hope, his negativity was a constant drain and left my glass purpetually half empty. You can't sing.  You'll never sell that...

    Cynicism, Eh?

Cynicism is useless for people with dreams.  It just brings good people down.  It is, however, useful in a corporate setting, as a de-motivator for the masses.  Although in those cases it is closer to realism.
